Blake Mews was refurbished in 2022 to an exceptionally high standard, with careful attention given to both aesthetics and comfort. The designers have meticulously crafted each space, ensuring that the interiors are not only visually stunning but also provide a luxurious and inviting atmosphere.

Blake Mews is situated in the centre of York and offers the very rare opportunity to park 1 medium sized car onsite.

The property boasts three wonderfully comfortable bedrooms - The twin room is based on the ground floor and has been fitted with two single beds and plenty of space for clothes.. There are then two further spacious double bedrooms on the 2nd floor, both with wonderfully comfortable king-sized beds and both with French windows that provide access to a fabulous balcony with stunning views across to York Minster, the perfect place to sit and take in this world-famous building. People travel from all over the world to visit York Minster and you have the perfect view from your own space, which is complete with sofa, table, and chairs. An incredible place to enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. One of the bedrooms also has its own ensuite shower room and the second is served by the house bathroom, complete with bath and shower over.

On the first floor of Blake Mews you will find the large living space. This comprises a fabulous study, just in case you need to work whilst you are in York, you can do so in comfort in this light, bright room. The open plan kitchen/living area is a fantastic area in which to spend time. The lounge area offers comfortable sofas to settle down into to make the most of the evenings, when you just want to kick back, relax, and enjoy this time spent together. There is a dining table big enough to sit everyone and a fully fitted kitchen, including a wine fridge, in which you will have everything that you need - whether it be a sumptuous evening meal, or spoiling yourself with a special holiday breakfast treat, it’s all there!

The apt. Is modern and chic. It's spotlessly clean and well furnished. The welcome basket of goodies was unexpected yet appreciated. We'd return anytime.

Fun family short break in York.

It would be difficult to find a place to stay which is more central than Blake Mews and with private parking too! The house is spacious, well equipped and maintained. Even though you are in the centre of York you do not hear any noise when you are in the property. If we were planning another trip to York we would consider booking again.

Lovely townhouse in a great location . Comfortable and well equipped. Entering via the back gates was a bit of a faff and it would have been easier to enter in via the street door but otherwise you couldn’t fault it .

Great Stay in York

We stayed at Blake Mews #4 for four nights. The flat is in the heart of the city with an abundance of restaurants withing short walking distance. The flat was very clean, with a modern kitchen, three bedrooms and three baths. The washer and driver made packing much more convenient. The staff answered my questions before arrival and were very responsive and courteous. I would highly recommend Blake Mews!!!

Perfect house for a very special celebration!

We had booked two nights at this beautiful house for our friend's 50th. We wanted a house close to the centre of York and this house delivered. Excellent location and very secure gated parking. The house was perfect and beautifully decorated. It was well equipped with everything we needed and 3 bedrooms, each with it's own large bathroom. We enjoyed making use of the balcony with amazing views of York Minster. We had a wonderful time and a very comfortable stay. We wouldn't hesitate staying here again. Thank you to the owners for sharing your amazing home and to Stays York for a stress free booking. Thank you also for the welcome hamper... A lovely touch!
