The Space:

Trueman Lodge is a beautifully presented retreat designed to offer comfort, privacy, and a peaceful countryside escape. The lodge features two generously sized bedrooms, each thoughtfully furnished with plush beds, soft pillows, and high-quality linens to ensure a restful night’s sleep. Ample wardrobe and bedside storage means guests can easily unpack and feel at home, whether staying for a weekend getaway or a longer break.

There are two modern bathrooms, each finished with sleek, contemporary fixtures. One includes a spacious walk-in shower, while the other features a bathtub, providing flexibility for families, couples, or small groups. Fresh towels and essential toiletries are supplied, ensuring an stress-free stay.



The open-plan living area is bright, airy, and welcoming. The lounge is furnished with comfortable sofas and armchairs, perfect for relaxing with a book, catching up on your favorite shows, or spending quality time together. Adjacent is a dining area with a generous table, ideal for sharing meals or planning your day ahead. The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need to prepare home-cooked meals, from a modern oven and hob to a fridge, freezer, microwave, and all essential cookware and utensils.

Guest Access:

Guests will have access to their lodge from 4pm on their arrival date. Our on-site team will be on hand to support your check in and ensure you have everything you need for your stay. Please note that there is one parking space to the side of each lodge, this is to be used by one vehicle only. All other vehicles can drive to the lodge to drop-off luggage but must park their car in the main car park for the duration of their stay. There is strictly no parking on the grass at any times. Quiet times are between the hours of 10pm and 7am and we politely ask that you respect your neighbours when using the outdoor facilities during these hours to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time when staying with us. Please note that the park is Dog Friendly but we ask that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times when on the park site. All guests can make use of the additional facilities at the Lodge Park. These include JJ's Bar & Grill, a Take-away Pizza Shack, 9 Hole Golf Course, Driving Range and Children's Play Park

Complimentary parking is provided for complete convenience during your stay. York Railway Station, just 25–30 minutes away, provides excellent national connections with regular services to London, Manchester, Leeds, and Edinburgh. Taxis are readily available from the station, or guests can reach Pocklington by bus and complete the final short leg of the journey by taxi or on foot.
