Clean bed to sleep in

Quick overnight for a family event in the area. We had a late arrival and an early out, which meant no pool for us as it is closed from 9 pm to 9 am. Breakfast was basic eggs, bacon, potatoes, and bagels. Not the best or the worst. The room was clean, but it lacked a mini Fridge, not a big deal for us, but for an extended stay, it might be. There were no USB charging ports anywhere in the room, and of course, none of us brought wall chargers since this has been standard in most of the hotels we have stayed in recently. It is not a new hotel, but I wouldn't say it needs a remodel yet, but he walls are very thin!!! We were awoken at 7 am by the neighbors who might as well have been in the same room as us, as we could hear every word. The doors all seem to slam very easily, making for other jolts during the night. The staff were friendly and the hotel was busy. The price was fair for what we got.

The room itself was nice, spacious, almost like my own little luxury apartment. I did not like the location of the hotel. While being only 1 block from the beach, a walk of several blocks was required to actually reach the beach. It was a hot, uncomfortable walk to the beach. I am most disappointed because I canceled my original trip before rebooking this hotel for different dates. When I spoke with management about receiving a refund for the canceled dates, I was told they would do so, but when Expedia reached out for the refund, it was never approved. Needless to say, I am very unhappy with being out approximately $2000.

Last minute trip to the York area for family. Wanted something with an indoor pool, and somewhere for us as a family to hang out and this place was perfect. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was nice with glass shower. Large pool area and nice pool- a little cool for me but my kids had no problem jumping right in. You can tell some things have been changed and they did their best with what they had. Like a fountain that isn’t a fountain (yet?) which was definitely a hot tub in the past. Breakfast was good, had a few different options. No one left hungry.

I had an excellent experience last year so i stayed again. This visit was deplorable. No hot water..took 8 hrs to find me another room. Attitude from sales agent at the front desk. Filthy common area. I was told they only have 1 housekeeper. Only thing great was the Restaurant. Wyndam should be ashamed of the place

I recently stayed at the Wyndham, Friday evening there was a group of bikers that partied until 6 am! I made multiple complaints to the front desk and nothing was done. The front desk gentleman on Friday evening basically said yea well that happens! I highly suggest if you have a family, kids, or want a peaceful night sleep you do not stay there! It was dirty as well!
