In a word: incredible! Yosemite was a bucket list destination for us, and we wanted to stay somewhere that was comfortable, scenic, and allowed for relatively easy ingress/egress. Riverside Retreat checked all those boxes and then some. The view of the river from the deck alone was breathtaking. The home was clean and cozy, the beds comfortable, the kitchen stocked with everything needed for cooking. Our group was three adults, but we would have had more than enough room even with a group twice as large. We absolutely will stay here on our next trip - which, hopefully, will be sooner rather than later!

great place! we would stay here again. The view of the deck is awesome and it's about 55 minutes to yosemite valley and 15 minutes to mariposa grove, and 15 minutes from the south entrance. Great location - host was amazing and responsive.

My son and I absolutely enjoyed our stay at this cabin. I booked this trip very last minute and the host was able to accommodate. I read the great reviews and it didn’t disappoint. The cabin was very cozy and being able to see and hear the river flowing directly behind the cabin was so peaceful, exactly what I was looking for. The bed was so comfortable, we slept very well and the host was very nice, offered very helpful information and was easy to contact. There is a market just a short walk/drive up the road that was pretty well stocked with items needed that I forgot to get at the grocery store on the way up there so that was pretty convenient. We did have to change the dates due to a power outage caused by a recent snow storm but that actually worked out in our favor bc had we went the original dates I had booked, we would not have had the opportunity to experience seeing the FireFall at El Capitan bc it was not visible during the days I had originally planned on going so my son and I were very happy about that. 10/10 highly recommended and will definitely book again. I hope I can come back in the summer

The cabin was as advertised! It was perfect for our family. We loved the deck and river behind. It was warm, but it really cooled off in the evening. It was very close to Mariposa grove and about 45 50 minutes to the valley. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to experience the beauty of Yosemite!

Loved our stay! It was perfect for our family and exactly what we were looking for. The views were beautiful, and the kids loved playing in the river (and jumping rock!) behind the house. It was the perfect thing to do after hiking during the day, that was both fun and low key. Kip was also very responsive and helpful with the communication. Highly recommend!
