Haus Imperial is Ideally located less than 5 minutes on foot from the Bahnhofstrasse, the village, the train station and the Sunnegga and Gornergrat departure stations as well as the bus for the MatterhornExpress with access to the whole ski area as well as direct access to Cervinia, Italy.

The Studio is large 38m2 with living area with south facing balcony and a kitchen area. There is real wood parquet throughout. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, WC and wash hand basin.

Appartement trĂšs bien conçu, avec un belle vue sur la montagne ( alors que beaucoup de chalets sont les uns Ă  cĂŽtĂ© des autres interdisant toute vue). Emplacement idĂ©al pour rejoindre le village, la gare, le dĂ©part Ă  ski et le petit supermarchĂ©; beaucoup de chalets sont bien Ă©loignĂ©s de l'un de ces endroits et ce ne doit pas ĂȘtre trĂšs pratique... A recommander sans rĂ©serve.

Nicki was such a great host - quick to respond and really helpful. The studio was spacious and comfortable with fabulous views of the Matterhorn from the dining table. It had everything you could need, even a welcome bottle of wine and delicious biscuits! Well situated for access to both the Gornergrat railway to the top of the mountain and the main railway station. Walkable in ski boots to the Sunnegga lift. Three supermarkets all close by. All in all, a really lovely stay.

The property is very homey with an all-you-need kitchen and a comfortable living room. The location is also very good as it is very close to the main station and station for train going up to Gonergrat! The host, Nicki, also communicates efficiently. Response is quick and helpful. However, the cleaning is just fair. We found a cap, a pair of contact lens case and a pair of socks at the home. Not too bad but need some work on cleaning!

This property was set in a great location, less than a 5 min walk from the train station and very close to the town centre but very quiet and serene. Also had an amazing view of the Matterhorn! The apartment was also more spacious than expected. However, the pillows were not comfortable and we had trouble sleeping. The space was generally clean but there was some things left behind from the previous guests (a hat and a used contact case) which was strange. Overall, it was a pretty good home base for our 4 nights in Zermatt!

We loved everything about this studio condo. The location is great, close to the train station yet off the main road. Easy access to lifts and the Gornegrat train. The balcony with a Matterhorn view and one of the few grassy open lots in town in front of it. Smartly equipped with all you need. Luxurious oversized bath towels. GREAT host communication. A good value in a town that can be hard to find one.

Excellent location....only a few minutes walk to supermarkets, Zermatt train station, Sunnegga funicular, train station to Gornergrat. Couldn't have asked for a better location. Unit was a good size for 2 people. Excellent view. Warm and easily accessible. We will definitely stay here again if it's available.

Great holiday in perfect location

The apartment is centrally located close to train station, main street and Gonergrat train. There is a great view of the Matterhorn from the balcony. The apartment was perfect for us . Plenty of room for 2 and ideallly located. Comfy beds great shower and all necessary appliances. The weather was great during our stay but had reaked havoc with roads and railway in the 2 weeks before we visited. We really appreciated that Nicki kept us informed and reassured throughout. By the time we arrived all systems were running to schedule. We also appreciated the goodies and bottle of wine on arrival. We had a great holiday and I'm sure we will return hopefully to the same apartment.

Nicki is a super communicative host. Easy to get to location from train station. Clear instructions for accessing studio apartment. Looks like photos. Basic supplies, you may need to purchase extras during longer stay. Dishwasher not available as listed. Comfy furniture and very quiet at night. Amazing view of Matterhorn! Fabulous studio that is centrally located - it takes 3 minutes to walk to the sunnega funicular or to the bus stop to the Matterhorn gondola. Good view of the Matterhorn too! Apartment was very clean and felt like home with the well stocked kitchen with quality wares, spices, etc. Host Nicki is welcoming and an excellent communicator. Look forward to returning.
