A Romantic Escape - A Treat For Shawshank Prison Fans!

Lock yourself INN for a romantic get-away in our all NEW re-designed space inspired by the movie Shawshank Redemption! This space is sexy and moody with comforts Andy and Red could only dream of! Snuggle in the luxurious king sized bed beside a glowing fireplace and/or watch your favorite "prison movies" on the 40” smart TV.
This studio apartment has a kitchen area with electric stove, small fridge/freezer (see pics), microwave and coffee bar with fresh beans and flavored syrups to create your perfect cup of morning coffee! You will have a full bathroom with step-in shower, towels, soap, shampoo/conditioner and hair dryer. Free hi-speed wifi internet is provided inside the room. There is a private entrance with smart code lock; your own parking space directly in front of your unit, and front porch security light. Be sure to take photos using some of the fun props inside!

Situated amid four surrounding cities, (Shelby, Mansfield, Lexington, Crestline, Galion), we offer the serenity of the country with the advantage of getting to town and most area attractions in 10-20 minutes! Mid-Ohio Race Track and OSR Shawshank are just a short 15 min. drive! Beautiful Kingwood Center Gardens; Clearfork Reservoir & Marina and the Ohio Bird Sanctuary are also only a 15 min. drive as well as several access points onto the beautiful paved B&O bike trail.

Many great restaurants, wineries and breweries are within a 15 minute drive as well as three large grocery stores, gas stations and the whole gambit of fast food restaurants. (there is a listing inside the studio)

Fantastic!

We had a great stay in this beautiful Shawshank themed home! It is approximately 15 minutes from downtown Mansfield and The Ohio State Reformatory. Downtown Mansfield had several roads closed due to construction, so unfortunately we weren’t able to see several of the locations on the Shawshank Driving Tour. We drove to Wooster while staying in the area and ate at Omahoma Bob’s BBQ, which was FANTASTIC! Highly recommend!! Downtown Wooster has a lot of nice shops to browse and plenty of parking. The home was exactly as described in the listing. It is cozy. The bed was VERY comfortable. The lighting is able to be dimmed, if desired, in both the entryway and the bathroom. The property is beautiful. The owners were terrific hosts and available when we had questions. We would most definitely stay again!

Perfect getaway

I booked this stay for Valentine’s Day, and it exceeded expectations. Hosts were easy to communicate with, the room included recommendations on nearby activities/food and location was great-not too far from anything. The vibe of the room was my favorite. What a gem of a place - extraordinary fun !

Thoroughly enjoyable stay from start to finish. That room is exactly as gorgeous and cozy/romantic as it look on the photos. Everything is in tiptop shape, and it is very clear that the owners pay a lot of attention to each little detail. Communication before and after the stay was impeccable - all of our needs were thoroughly taken care of. Next up for us will be the adjacent Old Schoolhouse !

Nice getaway retreat

We stayed for one night while we attended the Blood Prison Haunted House. It was as cute as described. I highly recommend it if you are visiting the Reformatory. It was decorated for Shawshank prison movie.
