Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
The host was not only uncooperative, he was aggressive in his approach. We didn’t have a WIFI password and the suite was not at all as described, we paid nearly $10K for a month long stay, including $1,000 for 4 pets (2 of which were Canaries in cages). There were dirty dishes with food residue in the cupboards & the garburator had rotting food in it & didn’t work. The unit was SWELTERING hot & the “luxurious” AC was a barely functioning portable unit that I had to fix. The coffee machine was broken and there was no toaster or kettle, there was no broom or dustpan & no vacuum cleaner, the toilet constantly plugged & there wasn’t a decent plunger. The complex, while newer, was next to a drug infested crack house & the neighborhood was disgusting. Two of the three beds had broken frames which resulted in the mattresses being very uncomfortable. The TV had very basic channels & due to the WIFI not being easily available (found out later it was in the ad) we couldn’t even use our phones or Prime or Netflix services. We live local, & our house was under renovation, so we needed this rental. Luckily we were able to just go home & get a vacuum, broom/dustpan, coffeemaker, kettle, & toaster & our own portable AC unit. I couldn’t imagine how horrible it would have been if we had been from out of town. When we asked for the listed items we were told we could just leave, but there were no other places, they didn’t even offer a discount. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS RENTAL ITS A DUMP !!
