Nice but loud at night

The hotel is very central. The room was clean, warm and cosy. The only problem was the window that wouldn't fully close and because of the location it was really loud at night.

Cannot open windows. Issues when you go and ask for a basic towel change after a few days, as they will not ask or change. Broken bathroom door, loud noises in corridor at night. Surrounding area is loud on weekends too.

I hope they put some work into making the rooms more ready to be resided in. They've just bought the place in sept 25 and there is much work to be done in building. Hope they prioritize the work needed over the amount of guests to spruce the place up.. needs alot of work
Had some plumbing issues. 4 of the male staff had to get in room after 1030 pm and fix a leak as tub leaked to floor below
I imagine they will be fixing up the walls and peeing wallpaper and distressed look
Matress is very old and sunken in I also needed extra blanket I did observe how clean sheets were and the effort to make cleanliness priority in this run down hotel.

Don't book this spot on the weekend. Noisy till 4-5am. Lift was out of service. 1" of dust under the bed. Woke up and could barely breath. Cigarette burn all over the floors. I would never stay there again!

Room for improvement

Helpfull staff, small twin room with small tv. Shower holder broken got to hold shower head in your hand. Lock on door very flimsy doesn't inspire confidence. Great location. Could be a really good hotel.

Worst hotel i have ever seen

The hotel was absolutely terrible. The check in procedure was shocking, with a guy who looked and acted like he didnt like anyone. The rooms were vile, and dirty, with stains on the beds in 3 of the 4 rooms we booked. Bins, overflowing with rubbish on a really hot day, resulted in the whole hotel smelling absolutely disgusting. The doors to 2 of the rooms were loose, with the frames clearly having been forced open at some point, which makes you wonder what goes on there. Absolute hell hole of a hotel

This hotel was the dirtiest I have ever seen and my room was the size of a cupboard with the hardest bed I have ever seen and a pillow made out of cardboard. I left within half an hour and had to pay for another hotel. I want a full refund,disgusting and should not be trading.

There was nothing good about it small roasting hot no fan or air in bedroom two days on the trot no hot water for a shower in morning bed so uncomfortable I could hardly walk in the morning no shower Matt slipped on wet floor after shower nearly did serious damage to my self never slept more than 1 to 2 hour at night staff wouldn’t give me a dry towel when I asked the whole stay was a joke
