There's a restaurant on site. You can enjoy a drink at the bar/lounge. WiFi is free in public spaces. The Cock and Bull also features a garden and room service (during limited hours). Self parking is free.
Perfect place to stay with a dog. The mattress could do with an upgrade but otherwise very comfortable although there was an overwhelming smell of cleaning products in the accommodation. Food is excellent.
The staff is so friendly and accomodating, they take the best care of their guests. Room was cleaned and done while I had my breakfast. Breakfast and dinners are of fantastic quality in this restaurant which has won many aeards and even included in Michelin guides. The area is very silent and peaceful, with grazing cows across the road and sand besches and dunes very close by. If I have to mention any downsides, it's that the bed doesn't have the best back support and the room is a bit humid due to the shower in the bathroom not having an active air ventilation. But, I absolutely recommend this place!
The room we got was separate from the Main Building so ist was quiet.
The breakfast and even the Dinner meals we had were all good. The Service was excellent.
The staff were amazing & our room was perfect. Unfortunately Donald Trump decided to come to his golf course across the road & therefore stop access to beaches etc for us common people.
Very clean and comfortable room although describing it as luxury is maybe a step too far! Breakfast and indeed all the food was excellent and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. It is a quiet location about a mile from the village so you probably need to drive. Would definitely stay here again.
The room we had was large with a good size bathroom attached. Unfortunate with 75mm of snow outside the heating had been turbed off and the room was cold. Nothing other than a small bar of hand soap in the bathroom and now room slippers to protect you from the cold floor.
On the whole it was a good room that jyst needed the finishing touches to make it right.
Great stay.
All staff very friendly and accommodating.
The hotel was very clean and the breakfast choices were plenty and anything you wanted if it wasnât on the menu and they could do it for you they did.
The view from the place was great.
Will be returning again.
First time i've actually stayed at premises like this as i'm usually "Travelodge" kinda person. Thought i would just treat myself and was quite surprised at the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the food and the comfort of the room.
The locals use the restaurant and it can be quite busy, so booking for a table can be a must (Fri & Sat evenings), but even then the friendliness of the locals is quite good.
Would recommend staying here as you are dealing with a local business, not some corporate chain.
What a great find for a visit to Aberdeen. We had our dog and didn't want to be in city centre. A quaint country inn - lovely decor - great drink selection - excellent dinner and breakfast. The room was lovely - a big comfortable bed. All of the staff we came across from check-in - 2 x breakfasts and 2 x dinners were excellent - well done on your recruitment - the staff were wonderful. Thank you for looking after us and the dog ! The place is dog friendly and that was so good for us.
