In a rural setting but located just 3 miles south of the seaside town of Aberystwyth and with beautiful views of mountains and coast, No 4 Pengraig Draw is furnished and equipped to a very good standard. No 4 Pengraig Draw is a semi-detached cottage boasting spacious accommodation for up to eight people and has the added benefit of a lovely conservatory, as well as a hot tub and a garden (enclosed by a low wall) so that you can enjoy relaxing in this wonderful location.

You can discover clean sandy beaches with clear waters, caves, waterfalls, wild rugged cliffs and so much more. Many of the beaches are dog friendly year round if you are bringing your pet on holiday. There are fabulous coastal walks across the headlands to secret coves rarely visited except by birds and the ghosts of ancient smugglers. The pretty coastal towns of New Quay and Aberaeron are well worth exploring and offer quaint shops, and a wide choice of cafes and restaurants. Sit on a harbour wall and drink in the atmosphere whilst enjoying a local honey ice cream or fish and chips!

The dignified, Victorian resort of Aberystwyth with its electric cliff railway, promenade and pier, is close by as are the compelling Cambrian Mountains, a ‘Wild Wales’ of hill sheep farms, forest and lakelands. Take a stately meandering train ride on what was once a working link between local lead mines and the harbour. The Vale of Rheidol Railway now runs a steam train service through the Rheidol Valley terminating at Devil’s Bridge, and here you can choose to go and see the three bridges over the river, or visit other attractions such as the famous Mynach Falls, Devil’s Punch Bowl and Jacob’s Ladder.

When you have returned to Pengraig after days out exploring you can enjoy the tranquil location and children will appreciate the shared play area with toys.

Lovely home set in the magnificent Welsh countryside. The lane leading up to it is a little tricky especially big you encounter traffic coming the other way so be aware. Hot tub was fantastic with the most amazing views and the walk to Aberystwyth was a delight. This is a lovely secluded property surrounded by amazing views, as other people have mentioned it can be tricky to find but as we got close we used google maps rather that our car sat nav and found it straight away. On arrival it initially looked clean and tidy but after a few days we noticed that in places it needed a little TLC, the conservatory needed a deep clean, blinds, sofa and windows were pretty dirty, old grapes and popcorn under the sofa in the lounge and bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied. Bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms were clean. The hot tub was lovely with views over open countryside, it does seem to be in a strange place though as you have to go out the back door across the patio and down a step to get to it. Plenty of parking at the front of the property and nice to see and hear the cows in the field and cow shed. Having said that you do need to not mind the aroma of cow pats but this is the country so we embraced it ! I wouldn’t go back but that is due to the fact that we have now explored this area.

We absolutely love the location and property, this was our 5th visit.

We absolutely love the location and property, this was our 5th visit. The views from the property are breathtaking and it’s close proximity to the coastal path is perfect for long walks. It’s very rural and in the middle of no where so but suitable for everyone, but if it’s escape and unwind you are looking for then this is the place to be.

We had a great stay at Pengraig Draw, great location and the kids loved the park and hot tub. We could leave the door open and see the kids on the park in the morning it was great. Fantastic views and so nice and quiet. It's only downfall was the cleanliness. Surfaces weren't clean, we had to wipe them all down, Hoover the floor for the baby to crawl and we had to wash all the dishes before we used them. Used grill tray still in the oven etc. The hot tub had no instructions on how to clean it and had grit at the bottom of it. It seemed to have someone come and clean it throughout the stay as one day you could smell the cleaner and it seemed better. The BBQ was disgusting and we weren't even prepared to clean it so unfortunately didn't get to use it during the hot weather. We had the windows open as it was so warm and a glass picture fell from the bathroom while we were downstairs. It has the potential to be amazing and if the cleanliness was improved we would return but wouldn't even consider it if it stays the way it was. The cleaner needs to go through cupcoards and draws etc, it makes a big difference!

Amazing Stay!

A quiet location with the convenience of Aberystwyth being a 5 minute drive from the cottage. Letting holiday cottages to workmen may not be the best idea for recommendations especially when they jump into your hot tub smoking cigarettes. It was dealt with swiftly by the management the following day but we felt that it was intimidating at the time.

We had an amazing time at 4 pengraig draw! The views were stunning and it was so relaxing.

We had an amazing time at 4 pengraig draw! The views were stunning and it was so relaxing. Was lovely to relax in the hot tub overlooking thr view in the afternoon! However, it would be better if there was a lock on the hot tub or a fence put up, as when we arrived home later on from exploring Aberystwyth we found our nieghbours in our hot tub which meant we could not use it again. Apart from this, loved every second would definitely reccomend
