Prices are ridiculous in Abilene right now. This was the most affordable option, but the staff was friendly and it was conveniently located by what we needed. Not bad for one night stay.

The staff was good. They were nice. The room was clean, but felt dirty. The shower barely worked. Could barely see out the window because there’s so much junk all over it. I don’t know what it was. Bed was advertised as a Tempur-pedic bed, but it most definitely wasn’t a Tempur-pedic, so yeah definitely won’t be staying there again

Wow. The ratings for this place. I booked because of a restaurant and bar on site and reviews of breakfast. arrived at 9:10pm. Restaurant and bar are closed. closed early “because it was slow.” No charm or character in the place. The bedding was light weight so had the heat on all night… which helped. I slept decent. The breakfast. There were two signs to let you know, “only three pieces of bacon per guest.” Never seen that at a hotel breakfast. The biscuit was okay.. the gravy was lukewarm and cold before I finished. Absolutely overrated and not worth booking this hotel for. Book for the price. Lastly - about 3 hours after I checked out and I’m on the highway, a person from the hotel called me and said I had their TV remote. She told me I had left my white remote in the room, and had taken their black TV remote. I asked her to clarify, and she said “all of our TV remotes are black. Our black one is gone and your white one is here.” Okay - um, I’m not traveling with any white remotes, can you send me a photo? She said no but she would talk with housekeeping and get back to me. But it sounded like she was ready to charge me for a remote. Then nothing else from the hotel. Two hours later I call to see if it was cleared up. The previous guest didn’t have a remote in the room, so a white one was sent as a replacement.
