Seaview Retreat Getaway

Seaview Retreat provides families, friends or couples with space to de-stress and unwind in front of the cosy indoor fireplace. A 'home away from home,' this clean and tidy cottage is an ideal choice for your base in Adventure Bay. Tick the WiFi, laundry, tea boxes - there's even room to play a game of cricket! After a day out and about, bring your Bruny produce back to cook up a feast. Then, enjoy the crisp Tassie air on the deck in the evenings with your favourite brew.

The space

Seaview Retreat is set on a large block with ample grounds for exploring and is located within a few minutes walk of the Mavista Nature Walk and the stunning Adventure Bay beach. More information on these spots below!

A gorgeous timber deck suggests outdoor dining with a beautiful timber bench and seating upon arrival. A few stairs leads you to the sliding glass doors and you will enter the lounge-room, complete with an indoor fireplace, a vaulted timber ceiling with a fan, and a comfortable lounge. With an open-plan design, the full size family kitchen is at the back of the home and has everything you need to enjoy Bruny produce to its fullest including a large timber dining table. Please note there is no coffee machine, but there is a WiFi connection.

There is a corridor with a laundry to the left which includes a modern washer and a dryer. The bathroom has a clean and roomy bath and shower, and there is a separate toilet. A hairdryer and Ancient Earth products are supplied including shampoo/conditioner/body wash/hand lotion and body lotion. Towels are also supplied.

All three bedrooms offer comfortable Queen beds with hotel quality linen and there is a Pack 'N' Play cot available upon request.

What's Nearby?

The Mavista Nature Walk is a beautiful short walk for nature lovers. Follow the well-maintained track along a shaded gully filled with ancient and enchanting wet forests. Notice towering stringybarks, blackwoods, magnificent tree-ferns and various understorey species. Stay a bit longer and use the picnic shelter at the beginning of the track.

One of the most popular spots on Bruny Island, Tasmania is Adventure Bay, known for its golden sands and relaxed beach vibes; this family-friendly east-facing beach is great for relaxing, swimming, fishing and all sorts of water sports.

The Adventure Bay General Store is also just around the corner, as is the Bruny Island Chocolate Shop, Raspberry Farm and the meeting point for Pennicot's Cruises!





Seaview Retreat’s beautiful 1 acre garden needs maintenance. we aim to have all necessary works completed when no guests are present however sometimes climate dictates what we can achieve. Although it is unlikely, a gardener may need to arrive for several hours during your stay and may make noise such as lawnmowing. we will advise you of this if the need arises
