The property listing, including pictures, in our opinion, was not accurate. The property has been neglected for many years. We are attaching actual pictures from the property. I wish we could add more! The property was very pungent with the stench of mold and mildew. I contacted the owner and he offered to send out a cleaning crew. These issues would not be resolved by a standard cleaning. There was what appeared to be mold throughout the property, the furniture was filthy, the floors were sticky, the doors and windows were filthy and many of the windows did not have screens so we couldn’t open them. There wasn’t a shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom and the tubs were dirty. The deck is rotting with protruding nails (my husband cut his foot on a nail and the owner said, “I hope he’s ok.” ). We should have left upon arrival, but it was the only time all of my kids were able to go on vacation. We were unable to find an alternate accommodation. I have never stayed in a property in such disrepair and will never do it again.
