It is right by the beautiful beach and the people are so lovely. You can walk around the area and explore the neighborhood. Very clean and attentive staff to take care of your needs.

The Hotel is spotless but the poolside service is very poor and the service elsewhere was also slow. We booked this hotel for a long weekend break but on Sunday without notice we were told to leave as the hotel had been booked out by a party . No prior notice was given many guests were also shocked at this behaviour. This was not a cheap weekend break and it was ruined by the Hotel. I will be contacting Hotels.com for a refund!

We enjoyed the peace and quiet there. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The property is very clean and kept up well. The only issue we experienced is the tv kept going in and out. We had a wait a few minutes before the signal returned. This happened multiple times.

This hotel is a dream come true. It’s expansive yet it feels like a private compound. Access to the beach and walking paths along the cliffs were great and the views are stunning. Beach side service was unexpected and much appreciated, though you do need to pay to reserve a cabana or chair. All of the pools were lovely, breakfast, lunch and dinner options at the buffet were varied and of high quality. Lima and Uddo were spectacular. We couldn’t lift a finger while there and appreciated everything the staff did to make our stay effortless and comfortable. It’s a good mix of families, couples and friends which keeps the energy light and fun. Everything, including the design is thoughtful and the rooms are bigger than expected. Plenty of towels by the pools, though some pools are more staffed than others. Know that there is one pool that is deliberately not heated, all the others are. No issues with our room other than a weird sewage smell one afternoon that was immediately addressed.

The whole experience from start to finish was excellent Very pristine and superb experience for us at a time when we needed it most Only thing that disappointed us was when we discovered that we didn’t have a transfer from airport to hotel even though we had booked a package with Expedia It didn’t spoil our holiday as we discovered Uber taxis were available and very reasonably priced but should have been better explained whilst taking our booking

The property was beautiful, clean, and staff was friendly. The resort is situated on a beautiful cliff side beach. Parking was free and the valet feature is extremely convenient. Also appreciated the ability to have poolside service and order via QR code right from where you are sitting. The resort is big and can take some time waking from different points of interest. Just a note the room layout is more ideal for couples.

Incredible hotel with amazing views. Plenty of pools to enjoy. Jessica at the front desk was extremely helpful with giving us recommendations. Patricia in the restaurant was so nice and friendly. The entire staff could not do enough for us. The breakfast had everything you can think of and it was fresh and delicious. Can’t say enough about this hotel. Hope to return .

For a 5 star hotel the rooms are needing an update. Remote control for TV needed to be changed 3x to work, shower sliding door broken took them 1.5 hrs to repair. Worst part was on our last day, there was no water for shower. Front desk NuNo was very rude i n handling the situation.

Consistent High Standard (third visit)

We were not happy with our room as this is the third time I have stayed at Epic Sana on the third floor with an ocean-facing room. The representative at reception immediately resolved the issue on the phone and offered us another room which was available for us to move into the next day. This displayed a high level of customer care because he did what he could to find a solution that worked for the customer rather than ignoring the fact that we were unhappy about what we had paid for. The only challenge was that the hand dryer in the men's bathrooms of the fine dining restaurant in Alquimia pushed our dirty air and needed to be replaced. This did not occur in any other bathroom at the resort and is not what you would expect from a fine-dining restaurant.

The hotel was comfortable with friendly staff. The room was spacious, and the breakfast was good. However, the hallway leading to the room had a very strong sewage smell, which was odd. While the room showed some signs of wear, it was still well-maintained. I was disappointed that no one informed me the beach facilities were unavailable. Despite these issues, I had an enjoyable stay overall.

We loved everything about this hotel. We had a 1 bedroom suite which was large, with 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette. It was quiet and had great black-out blinds. All of the staff we encountered were wonderful. There are multiple pools which were never crowded, and a beautiful beach. I would highly recommend this hotel!
