Payed online and said they were pet friendly but when i checked in they wanted a $250 pet fee and a $25 fee for the pet. Plus there attitude was like i was the problem.

Never staying here again.

When we checked into our room it was dirty, the floors were visibly soiled along with the counters had dried food stains. The curtain was completely ripped across the middle. The smoke detector wasn’t working. The bathtub tile was cracked. The drawer would fall out of place.

Front desk attendant very unfriendly, reluctant to answer questions, amenities in room were awful, no pressure in shower, refrigerator making a lot of noise, carpet was filthy. Hostess/bartender at Dukes was terrible was not in post for 15 minutes only words were, we have no food. Continental breakfast was mediocre

The hotel is very close to 2 Interstate Highways and traffic is very loud. The hotel appears to house the homeless or immigrants, and a man probably with mental issues was screaming right outside the sliding glass door of our room. The employees and front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They did not charge me for a small dog, when I was told that the dog would cost $25. Very much appreciated that! The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great! Did not eat the breakfast due to long lines with the 2024 State Chess Championship being held in the conference rooms. There were a lot of children staying in the hotel and they were all very friendly and respectful which was another delight! The price was very good and I did sleep pretty well overall.

The first room we checked into had pet hair all over the back and base of the arm chair. I was sneezing like crazy and then saw the pet hair. I reported it to the front desk and the person on duty immediately reassigned us! The 2nd room, just down the hall was MUCH better. The van drivers were AMAZING! We rode with Glenn, Mary, and Rudy. All three were friendly and informative about the city and sites to visit.
