My hotel stay was effectively canceled the moment I arrived. The room I was issued had clearly not been cleaned—an ironing board was still set up with the iron left on, the bed was half made, and only two towels were in the bathroom. All the lights were on when I opened the door, further confirming the room had been left in disarray. I checked out early due to the unacceptable conditions and have been waiting to hear back from a manager. As of now, I’ve received no response.

This hotel really needs a paint job inside - room doors are peeling paint with scratches It’s really beginning to show age . Our bathroom door had paint chips falling off with grimy dirt and handprints all over Breakfast was Really lacking - eggs were cold and rubbery and sausage gravy was more like glue. Also kids enjoy a juice at breakfast not ice water ! We left and went to McDonald’s. We travel to Alexandria. 4-5 times a year we we will stay elsewhere in the future .!

We requested new bed linen. We felt it didn’t look fresh. I saw stains that did not go away when they washed it. My sister and I went downstairs and got two complete set (sheets, comforters and pillow cases.) When I removed one pillow case, the pillow was stained. We left the worn linens on floor. We slept okay due to our own efforts. We heard a train during the night.

Check in wasnt very fast , i checked in online but the person at the desk went thru everything again , i dont tjonk i ever sae anyone stare at a computer screen as long as she did . The smell of marijuana was stong just outside the buolding and st my end of the corridor you just had to inhsle to get a buzz so much for a no smoking hotel . I found the sofa cushion snd back ripped or cut went to report it so i wouldn't get charged and was told ok i will make a note but dont think she did . The TV's didnt work right either but didnt bother cause nothing would probably get done , the water barely came out if the faucets not a pleasant stay at all . I think im done with LaQuinta the hotel in Austin TX wasnt that great either .

It seemed somewhat safe and convenient. Not much to do or eat nearby but the Cracker Barrel. The hotel is in somewhat decent shape. It needs some tlc. I’m sure it’s improved some but it isn’t the freshest and cleanest experience I’ve had. The bathtub wasn’t the cleanest and it constantly dripped all night which kept me awake. It stayed cold and the beds were well kept.

We stayed two nights. The rooms were cleaned. Had to tighten all the legs on the coffee table but no big deal. I would suggest the pillows be changed out. They were indescribable. Mattress was long over due to he changed out as well. Would probably stay there again.
