Rural house, very comfortable

Fully renovated old country house with rustic decoration, very comfortable, with good location, between Loulé and Faro, near Almancil and Ancão beaches, Vale do Garrão, Quinta do Lago ....
The house is spread over two floors, the largest area on the ground floor having only two bedrooms and a bathroom on the upper floor.
The exterior is the extension of the house with a nice porch with barbeque with the swimming pool and the garden next door.

Emplacement ideal

Emplacement idéal pour visiter l'Algarve, maison propre, spacieuse et hÎtes trÚs avenants. Le seul point négatif est le bruit de l'autoroute lorsqu'on est dehors car à l'intérieur et grùce à la climatisation dans les chambres il n'y a aucune nuisance.

Jolie maison trĂšs agrĂ©able. JosĂ© et son Ă©pouse sont charmants. ZĂ©lia est venue nous chercher Ă  l'aĂ©roport pour nous conduire jusqu'au gĂźte oĂč nous avons dĂ©couvert un endroit propre et confortable. Tout est rĂ©uni pour que le sĂ©jour se passe au mieux. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by ZĂ©lia.Delicious fruit from her own garden was served with a bottle of her homemade olive oil.The pool was cleaned every few days.The house was perfect, nothing to complain about, and the outdoor areas were also lovely.We had a really nice holiday.Thank you, ZĂ©lia!

Host is amazing very helpful. Home is exactly as the pictures. Many things on-site not even listed. Overall our stay was fantastic and would book again. The only downside of the property is the noise from the traffic. But location is close to everything

Fantastic Family vacation

We had a fantastic stay in this house. We travelled as a family of 6 (4adults and 2 kids). Our host, ZĂ©lia, was very good to communicate with and she took care in providing all that we needed for our 11 night stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool as the temperatures were very hot. The location was very convenient to many little towns. We easily explored,Tavira,Sagres, Faro and Ayamonte, Spain. The beds were very comfortable and we really enjoyed cooking and dining outside. Thank you again for the great stay and for providing us with some delicious figs! We would highly recommend this place for anyone with a family staying in the Algarve!

Fantastic Villa and Helpful Hosts

The villa is fantastic, has everything you need to be able to relax. Has easy access to nearby towns and facilities. The hosts were lovely, meeting us late (due to late flight) and allowed us to stay late as well. Well provisioned kitchen including those items like salad dressings and herbs you may not buy as a tourist.

A real gem

Well what can I say! Amazing owners and amazing villa. We had a very late arrival due to delays, but we were met at the airport by ZĂ©lia and JosĂ© and after waiting patiently for us to sort our car hire, they led us back to the villa. The villa is a home from home, there is everything you'll need, it is spacious, clean, very well equipped and has amazing grounds and pool. There is a bbq and ZĂȘlia dropped us around coals and cones. Any enquiries were responded to quickly and nothing was too much trouble. The wine, fruit and other provisions left for us was lovely and much appreciated after our very late arrival. Overall we all had the best time. Couldn't fault it in anyway and will love to return sometime soon. Thank You both for a wonderful holiday home.

Everything you need !!!

The property was perfect , clean , spacious, comfortable and fully equipped to meet all our needs ,,, fantastic Aircon , pool , lovely beds and plenty of storage ,,, Host met us at the property and was lovely ... bowl of fruit and bottle of wine waiting and kitchen superbly equipped.. dont see how it could have been improved upon.. perfect for 8 adults and plenty of space outdoors if you want some me time... Value for money without question..

Superb Villa

Absolutely beautiful villa. The hosts were superb greeting us on arrival. Easy to get to from Faro airport. Excellent amenities. Great location, handy to the Mars shopping centre, Almancil, Vale do Lobo and Quinta da Lago. Car definitely needed. We will definitely be back!

The owners offered to meet us at the airport because the flight landed late and guide us to the property...it was a really lovely gesture and a good way to set the tone for the holiday. When we arrived the owners had left us fresh oranges and lemons, and had bought us some essentials like butter, bread, cheese, and milk - again, a lovely touch. The villa itself is really beautiful. The kitchen has all the modern conveniences including a coffee machine and, again, the owners had left us some pods to go in it so we didn't have to head out and find our which pods go in it and buy them ourselves. They even gave us a pair of armbands for our two year old daughter for the pool - which was really nice. The pool is fantastic, the renovation of the house has been done to a brilliant standard and the area is quite quiet. As other people have said there's a large shopping centre nearby and a motorway-type road but we barely noticed any noise and the shopping centre was a great place to go in the evenings. Lots of food outlets, a cinema, they even have little electric cars that your kids can drive around in (or you can control, yourself, if they're too young) whilst you shop. We'd never been to Portugal before but we loved it. We loved the fact that every beach we went to had a Beach bar attached if you wanted to eat something after spending the day there. The villa is centrally situated so you can reach all the parts of the Algarve with ease if you have a car. The villa has parking for a couple of cars at least and there's an electric security gate to keep them in. There's even a canopy to keep the car out of the sun so it's not too hot when you get in - so much thought has gone into the villa. All in all we loved it and would happily book again. We were just a family of three but the villa is so big you could have a few families staying to fill up the space a bit more. :)

Fantastic property

We had a lovely time staying here. Everything was made simple by the owners from booking to advice during our stay. The house was spacious and immaculate. It had everything we needed and more. It made a great base to visit the sights and we were able to enjoy trips to Quartiera, Loule, Albufeira, Vilamoura and Lagos to soak up the culture and enjoy some fantastic food. My favourite meal was in the Mayflower at vilamoura. All in all we had a lovely week, lots of laughs and lots of much needed rest and relaxation. We will definitely be returning.

Amazing Villa set in a beautiful garden

The Villa is beautiful inside and out. If anything the pictures don't do it justice. Inside it is spacious and a nice mix of modern with some vintage pictures and traditional furniture. But the real attraction is the garden area. As you leave the kitchen there is a large table, Built in BBQ, and table football all sheltered under a lean-to. There is a section of grass which was great for my daughter running around. The pool is a good size to allow a little swimming. The whole garden is very sheltered, private, and was all child friendly. There is a garage which has an extra fridge freezer, bikes, pool toys, and a selection of children's toys. The Villa is about 20 minutes from Faro and is centrally positioned for exploring the Algarve. It is near a dual carriage way and close to a large shopping complex, but because of the walls that surround the villa you don't hear or see them from inside the villa. When you are in the garden you can hear the road in the distance, but it is a background noise that you don't notice. I only mention this because it was something that had concerned me before I travelled, but it really isn't an issue when you are there. Outside the villa is a small private road which leads to the aforementioned dual carriageway. You can walk or cycle to the town Amancil which is about a mile away, but you would need a car to get anywhere else. Overall the Villa was outstanding and very well stocked with cleaning products, toilet paper, condiments, etc. The hosts were wonderful, so friendly and helpful. This is one of the best villas I have ever stayed in, I couldn't fault it.

Check-out

No geral a estadia correu bem, excepto o incumprimento por parte do proprietĂĄrio do horĂĄrio de check-out. Por volta das 7h30 da manhĂŁ do Ășltimo dia da nossa estadia duas pessoas começaram as limpezas no exterior da propriedade tendo em conta que a hora de check-out estava definida para as 10h. Os dois pontos negativos da propriedade sĂŁo o ruido que se faz ouvir da autoestrada e o ar condicionado que nĂŁo existe nos 2 quartos de casal do rĂ©s-do-chĂŁo.
