Located 15 minutes from the centre of Alghero on the west coast of Sardinia, the cozy Apartment Royal awaits you with spectacular sea views and just 50 meters from the beach. The 85 m² apartment has a living room, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and can accommodate 7 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi (suitable for video calls), SAT-TV and air conditioning. In the child-friendly accommodation you can get a crib and a high chair on request.

You can start your day with a coffee on the private, partially covered terrace and balcony equipped with seating and sea views before heading to the beach or exploring the old town.

A wide selection of restaurants, bars and cafes as well as food markets are located in the immediate area less than 5 minutes walk from the accommodation. The old town, with its numerous sights, can be reached along the seafront promenade within a 20-minute walk. Strolling through the narrow medieval streets, you can admire the historic city walls, the Cathedral of Santa Maria or the Church of San Michele, as well as the port. Boats depart regularly from here to the Grotta di Nettuno, a stalactite cave accessible from the sea. Alghero's beach is just a 2-minute walk from the apartment.

Great location with fantastic view over beach and for watching the sun

Pros: Great location for exploring Alghero from. Easy walking distance to the old town, restaurants, supermarkets and places to hire bikes, mopeds and boats. Has stunning view from balcony, perfect for watching the sun set. Cons: Sheets on bed didn’t quite fit so always came off in the night and pillow was very lumpy. Fridge door didn’t shut properly so dripped condensation on everything.

Not clean and run down furnishings, but great location & balcony view

The apartment was not sufficiently clean by any standard. Garbage was left in can and there was hair everywhere, as well as q tips and bathroom waste from previous resident. Sofas and sofa beds were broken and throw sheets on sofa were an attempt to hide the condition with old throw sheets. The furnishings of the apartment were old and worn. Refrigerator was not working and didn't get cold Dirty dishes were in the draws. No supplies and no starter supplies. Apartment mildew smell persisted. Wifi terrible and did not cover the entire apartment. Speed test was significantly less than advertised when it worked. Only one key available to apartment which made it a challenge for two couples staying there. The location was awesome and the view from the balcony amazing. The property manager was helpful and extremely nice, as well as available and flexible. It's unfortunate that with a little cleaning and a refresh of sheets, towels, furniture (beds, pillows, sofa), a refrigerator, and working wifi, this place could be 5-stars.
