Overrated

Room was nice and the restaurant service was very good, but the hotel needs to update their listing. Valet parking was $35, there was no self parking, and street parking is metered and not really an option. Front desk staff had no idea about rates at the nearby parking garage, and was unfamiliar with restaurant hours. I felt like they couldn’t care less if we stayed there or not. There are many other choices in the area, next time I’ll stay else where.

Classy and elegant, but affordable!

The hotel is nearly 100 years old and still exudes that classic character, but the rooms are very modern. The rooms are huge compared to other hotels, and also has a much bigger bathroom. The beds are very luxurious as well. If I’m ever in Allentown, this is the only hotel I want to stay in!

We booked a mobile accessible bathroom because I am in a wheelchair. The bathroom had bars to hold onto in the shower but had a tub that is not mobile accessible. The hotel has a bar/restaurant but is has been closed for renovations. The hotel website still advertises the restaurant even though it is not open. Not having an option on premise severely limits my independence in a wheelchair. I would be able to access the restaurant to get something to eat/drink on my own. There was a makeshift bar set up in the lobby for 3 hours on Friday and Saturday, but it had very limited options. There is a restaurant near by the hotel has an agreement with where you can sign the bill to your room, but it is too far for me to wheel myself. We would have loved to watch the football game in the restaurant in the lobby on Sunday, but had to leave the hotel. If we knew the room was not mobile accessible and the restaurant/bar was closed, we would have booked elsewhere. These two factors dramatically affected our trip. When I brought these up at the counter, no remedy was offered

My girlfriend and I stayed here so we could see John Legend perform for his Christmas tour and we were absolutely delighted to stay here. The service was kind and helpful. Food and drinks at the restaurant we amazing and all the people were so kind. The room was clean and the beds are HUGE and very comfortable. We can't wait to plan our next stay!

Suite was super nice and spacious. The lobby was decorated beautifully for Christmas and the receptionist made checking in fast and easy. Only downside is that there’s not really good parking around the area. They should also update their website as valet parking is $35 per day.

The rooms are cold and there is no temperature control. The building is old and pretty cool but it is also very loud due to the traffic outside. The bathroom had a vent but no way to turn it on. The beds were horrible, rubber and we sunk to the middle...It was one night and walkable to where we needed to go.
