We were completely satisfied with our stay. The home was even better in person and had everything we needed. It wasn't overstocked with unnecessary items left behind by others, and the kitchen was clean and tidy. The kitchen table, living room sofa, and downstairs mudroom all have big windows to look at the scenery. The deck was perfect, overlooking the water; there are some wires and housing in the way, but it is still very enjoyable to be on the deck grilling. The grill was clean and worked with ease, and grilling tools were available. A Styrofoam cooler was provided, which we used to take snacks and drinks out while exploring the area. The fire pit was fun and useful for evening S'mores. The place itself was clean. However, we were required to wash and put away the dishes before we left. Since there is no dishwasher, this meant I had to rely on the previous person to have done the same—so I washed all the dishes we used prior to using them, despite still paying a cleaning fee. That aside, the host responded quickly and was very helpful and accommodating. I would recommend this property! Plenty to do in the area; we fished, boated, hiked, visited some sites and did some antique shopping.
