Mid week vacation.

Older hotel, well maintained. Pool area was wonderful. Pool was warm. Bedding was clean but mattress was not particularly comfortable. Breakfast offerings were limited-toast and cereal, waffle maker and yogurt. Second day we opted to go out to breakfast.

Not friendly

Our biggest issue is how the front desk staff handled an issue. My husband's car alarm kept going off during the night. When we went down to ask a question at the front desk about a call from the hotel to my cell phone - no message was left - we were blamed for them having to comp a room for another guest. The woman at the desk said that "we've been calling your room all night". Our room phone did not ring AT ALL. I went back up to the room and checked the room phone - there was no dial tone, which is a safety problem. I went back to the desk to tell them the phone is dead and the desk attendant said "these damn phones never work". I asked if they had considered knocking on the door or calling either of our phone numbers - which they had from the reservation. She said they did not, but restated that they tried calling our room all night. Which clearly was their faulty phones - not us! We were made to feel very unwelcome for something that could have easily been corrected. Other issues travelers should note: Rooms are described as sound proof. They are definitely not. The deadbolt to our room would not engage. The phone in our room did not work, which in an emergency is a HUGE safety concern.

Average good for just one night stay. Outdated bathroom, furniture & TV Breakfast is good however the seating furnitures are outdated. Need renovations for sure in order to run the hotel successfully.

Didn't like the stay at this place. Firstly when we checked in, our room's toilet flush wasn't working. After that when we went to check desk to inform , we were told there is only one room available for us, if we are interested. And the way this was communicated showed a bit of frustration from their end. As a customer we need to feel welcomed, this wasn't the case. When we went to the new room, the light switches were all messed up and there were only 2 napkins in the room. Next day when we went for breakfast, it was terrible. Possibly the worst continental because for at a hotel. Additionally, when we were eating, the worker there started to clean up the place and started to remove everything. It was badly organized and the worker seemed arrogant that were couldn't even go and make waffle. Bad experience overall, specially considering I paid $120 for a stay of 10 hours (overnight stay).

Overall, property was good. Quiet time was excellent, because walls are thin. Mattresses are due for replacement, wall tile, caulking in bathrooms could use a little updating, overall I would book again.
