The front desk staff was extremely accommodating around our unique schedule due to a wedding venue. The facility is in need of updating, but the bathroom was clean, water pressure excellent. Room did have a slight odor to it, carpet had some stains. Overall it suited our needs for just a quick overnight stay.

Great place to stay when looking for an overnight stay after a Penn State football game. 30 minutes from State College, and an easy drive. The best thing about this place is the price. As most hotels from Altoona to State College inflate their prices for home games, the ‘Curve’ maintains their low prices. As described by other reviews, the place is a bit dated including the bathrooms, but they are in process of renovating them. So this should improve.

Tom at the front desk was extremely helpful throughout our stay. For travelers on a budget, would definitely recommend, and will definitely stay again.

The staff was very nice. The front desk manager, Tommy, was very accomodating. We arrived late after the Penn State vs Oregon football game and he waited for our arrival which was after checking in time. Joanna, our housekeeper, was friendly. Our room was not renovated at this time. The tv was very good and we appreciated the refrigerator with freezer for our perishable food. One negative that we experienced was that our toilet did not efficiently flush. We only stayed one night, so this was not a major issued with us. We reported the deficiency so that it can be addressed appropriately. We slept comfortably. we felt that this property was a great value for the price. We will stay in this property in the future. The owner is in the process of renovating the property and will improve the antiquated look of the rooms. We thought that the room was very clean and was smoke free which were important features for us.

Temper your expectations, and it's fine

It's fine for the price. Very no frills, and don't trust to get much on the TV, but if all you need is a place to crash for a day or two, it works.

Terrible experience

There was no one available at the front desk and no one was answering the phone calls so we couldn’t check-in and we had to leave the property without even checking-in in the middle of the night. It was a terrible experience. We never saw a hotel without a front desk person. I would advise no one should book this hotel for their trips.

They did not have my king bed. TV was terrible. WiFi sucked and they lied saying pet friendly and the receptionist kept my 50 that I had to put down. Spend the extra5 and go elsewhere
