The check-in process was a disaster. The key cards would not work and when we returned to the front desk to get the cards re-keyed, the clerk would instruct us to wait behind the new check-ins. The new check-ins were sent with the same inoperable keys to their rooms. Each time anyone returned to the front desk, the process was repeated. The head of housekeeping was called in to assist, only to continue the same process of sending guests to rooms with inoperable keys. We were eventually let into our rooms without keys until the manager was called in to reset the system a couple of hours later. The insane part of the entire process was the continuous dispatching of guests to rooms with keys that would not work. Once the clerk and head of housekeeping realized this, check-ins should've been suspended until the system was reset.
