The Cozy Buffalo near Palo Duro Canyon & WTAMU

The Cozy Buffalo is a spacious home with a farmhouse feel. It is in walking distance from the college campus, close to the downtown square, and a 10 minute drive to Palo Duro Canyon. Palo Duro Canyon offers hiking, zip lining, horseback riding, the play Texas, and a multitude of other activities.
The Cozy Buffalo is a home away from home for all of our guests. Including Wifi, Direct TV with 155 + channels, Netflix, Hulu, and many other streaming programs with your username and password.

Features of the home

This 2400 sq ft home has a lot of room for activities or a simple relaxing weekend. It has 2 large living rooms, a nice dining room, a reading nook, and 3 spacious bedrooms. We have added many touches that make the Cozy Buffalo feel like home.

Host ,Kelby, was very welcoming, easy to contact and accomodating. House was great if you have toddlers or crawling infants, with only one large level transition in the kitchen area and plenty of roo. For a pack and play or toddler cot in each room. Kitchen was stocked well for cooking simple meals in. Very conveniently located with only 15 minutes from Palo Duro Canyon State Park.

House was well maintained and well stocked with necessities. My dog really enjoyed the big fenced in backyard. Great location if you want to visit both Caprock and Palo Duro canyons. Very easy access to Palo Duro. Kelby was a great and friendly host.

Great location, house is very roomy and perfect for our family. We were visiting to attend a family reunion in the Palo Duro State Park area. The state park is well worth visiting and offers so much; hiking, scenic views, jeep tours, horseback riding. Also, this property is nearby many good restaurants and coffee shops. And, our family enjoyed the Aqua Park swimming pool in the area.

We are a family of six, with four teenagers, and we stayed one night to hike in Palo Duro Canyon on our way to Grand Canyon and Moab, UT. This rental was in a quiet location, and it was clean and updated. We had plenty of room for our family. Great rental, and we would stay here again!

Had our parents stay with us as well as our son that goes to WT. Had our 3 dogs as well that enjoyed the backyard. Unfortunately our 4th dog had to stay at home because only 3 dogs are allowed. But nonetheless it was a great stay.

Rambling House

This is an older large rambling house great for several parties staying together or adults who need some privacy. Very clean & well maintained; large fenced backyard for kids/pets to blow off steam. Host very responsive. Would definitely stay here again if we needed the space.

Great Stay

We visited Canyon Texas for the R100 Bow Shoot which was amazing fun and stayed at this great place. It was like being at home. Very clean and comfortable for our family and Grand children. It had everything we needed. was quiet so much space. It was easy access to everything. We look forward to staying again in the future. Great Home!

An everything space

This property is perfect for literally anything. Got a big group of people? Its got 3 bedrooms with 4 total beds that can easily house 12 people. Need a bigger space for multiple groups of people? It has 2 living rooms for people to hangout in. Got pets? Its a pet friendly property with a large yard for them to run around in. Anyhing you need a property for this has you covered. 10/10 stay.
