I have no idea, the hotel failed to supply me with an accessible room, despite my having booked one. Completely ruined my wife's birthday! We had to turn round and go home again. Absolutely appalling!

500 year old hotel in a very pretty town. Great room with everything needed for a short stay. Housekeeping kept the room immaculate. Very friendly staff. Stayed here last year as well and will definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay at the Kings’s arms. Had a junior suite with a quirky 2 floor arrangement, lobby and bathroom downstairs and main bedroom upstairs. Fantastic location in the heart of old Amersham and good parking. Lovely afternoon tea and good breakfast, freshly made to order

breakfast buffet is a bit limited. got full english as well, burnt rashers and sausage…not very edible. Rooms fine, if a bit basic. Not possible to have a shower without soaking the bathroom floor. Overall it’s mediocre, but priced as premium.

Nobody at check-in so had to wait 5 minutes, room was freezing cold and although it was 0°C outside radiator was switched off. WiFi was intermittent and kept disconnecting. Nice old pub with excellent parking in a lovely area with friendly staff just could do better for the price
