We had a wonderful stay at this property! The grandkids had so much fun fishing and swimming. We kayaked and paddle boarded. We brought our boat and it was very easy to park at the dock and the lake was a blast. The house is immaculate and had the perfect space for everyone! We had one rainy morning and the basement kept us all entertained!!

The best vacation cabin stay

My husband and I have vacationed at at least 10 other cabins around WI and Mn
 this one was the best one by far. The place was stocked full with everything you need, and it is just as much kid friendly as much as it is adult friendly. The lily pad was awesome for the kids and the kayaks/paddle boards were perfect for the adults! It’s a perfect spot to fish as well- we caught a bass! I hope the photos help tell the story because our family of 12 were so so happy. We went for my mom’s 70th birthday as a family and it was a birthday to remember for sure.

"Girl's" Weekend

Eight friends from Nebraska high school class of 1962, all celebrated their 80th birthdays together at this beautiful lakehouse. We filled the house with laughter, (some tears), playing games, watching NE football, sharing memories and making more memories galore.....did I mention laughter? What a perfect place for our reunion. Fully furnished with everything we needed for cooking, exceptionally clean & well maintained. Beautiful lakeside location....we highly recommend for family & friends gatherings.

Family Vacation

This property was even better than we had thought it would be. The house is so spacious and well kept. We had eight adults and one child for our family vacation. We spent plenty of time on the screened in porch and on the water. Trisha and Pete were wonderful! Our only complaint is that we didn’t book for a longer visit. We highly recommend this property. Great house with great owners!

We stayed for 3 nights in August 2024. The owner's had everything in place when we got there and even had a pontoon to rent (reach out to Trisha before your stay and set it up with her). Everything was clean and well kept. There was plenty of space for all 9 of us. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, and utensils. The only complaint was that one of the people staying with us said the bed that was in secondary living room was not necessarily "private", but you could still shut the doors leading to the secondary living room to make it more private. Amery is about a 10 minute drive east and has a grocery store, gas station, liquor store and about any other "essential" thing you would need. St. Croix Falls is about a 20 min drive NW and is a larger town with a Wal Mart a couple mini-golf places and more variety of food options. There is also Dancing Dragonfly Winery which is a 20 min drive, but it has a fantastic wine selection and food selection!! The location of the house was right on the lake and beside a small dam. The dam has water running over it and provides enough white noise to drown out the nearby park and neighbors. The house is on the west side of the lake and has a wonderful view in the morning as the sun rises over the lake! Trisha provided her phone number and said we could reach out if we had any issues, but we didn't have any the whole time we stayed there. Definitely going to book it again next year and, probably, stay longer!

spacious lakeside home has it all

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend wellness retreat with 9 women at this spacious lakeside home! It's located on a quiet little bay on Wapogasset Lake. A small dam to one side of the property gives the feeling of being near a waterfall, while lots of trees around the edges of the property provide plenty of privacy. Lake activity was light so it was a delight to take paddle boards and kayaks into the open waters at any time of day. Some of us took advantage of nearby attractions, including the art installations at Franconia Sculpture Park and hiking at Interstate Park. The home itself was more than we expected! The pictures don't do it justice. Plenty of areas inside and outside the house, all with a spectacular view of the lake, allowed us to vary surroundings for our retreat sessions. The kitchen is well appointed and had what we needed for making and serving meals. Lots of dishes and serving bowls. A couple more serving utensils would have been helpful. The dishwasher was incredibly quiet! Having 4 full bathrooms was a huge plus for us. Only 1 of them had a blow dryer so keep that in mind when you're packing. And I have to mention the BEDS! Everyone agreed they were oh so comfortable! Every bed had super soft sheets and covers, with extra blankets and throws at the end of each bed. Trisha is a great host. She is responsive, a good communicator, and easy to work with.

8 of us came to Amery to visit family. This house is even more lovely than the pictures! It is huge, well-stocked, and has beautifully landscaped yard/lake access. The screened-in porch was great for family games. We had a wonderful time!

This is an amazing property. The house is spacious and has most everything you need for your stay. The only thing we needed was a larger coffee pot (we drink a lot of coffee) and my daughter just brought us the one from her house. There's an awesome view across the lake, very quiet neighborhood and close to town. Trisha was quick to respond anytime I had a question and was super nice. Would definitely stay here again, hopefully when the weather is a little warmer so we could take full advantage of the outdoor activities. Would give it more than 5 stars if possible.

Great family getaway

We stayed here for a family weekend getaway and it was perfect! Plenty of room for games, the pool table was great entertainment and we were not far from Taylors Falls. Wonderful winter exploring. The house was stocked with anything we would need for the kitchen including a crock pot which was a life saver!

Perfect getaway

This was the perfect New Years getaway with a couple friends and our kids (age range 5-12 yrs). The house was beautiful, clean, spacious, and had everything we needed: plenty of bath towels, shampoo/conditioner, dishes/cookware/tupperware for us to cook all weekend. There were plenty of things to do indoors: games, tv, darts, etc. It was a cooler weekend but we made time for a bonfire. The yard and lake was private and peaceful. We saw bald eagles! We walked over to the park with the kids. I'm sure it's even more fun during the warmer weather. Lastly, Trisha was quick to respond to my questions. Highly recommend this gorgeous home.

Great home for a family gathering

Highly recommend! We were in town for a wedding and the home was perfect. In addition to sleeping accommodations, there are numerous places for groups to gather with plenty of space. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well appointed. Trisha was very responsive to questions I had prior to our visit. We’d love to return when we have more free time to take advantage of the lake activities.
