Springhill Suites Ames

Clean, spacious, modern rooms. Beds and pillows were super comfortable. Good internet and TV. Close to the expressway with lots of food and shopping nearby. Free continental breakfast was what you’d expect. Would stay again.

New property with a super comfortable bed/bedding. Lavender/Eucalyptus shampoo/Conditioner in shower. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent!! Mini waffles, bagels, mini egg bites, and good gravy. The kids used the small pool and warmed up outside in the tiny courtyard. It was a slow time of year, so we had the pool to ourselves. There is a fire pit table in the front with seating.

Our room was spacious - it had two queens and a pull out couch, which was perfect for 5 people. The price was just right considering how nice this place is. The breakfast was amazing! I would definitely stay at another one of these hotels!

Great new facility. The pool is small and two swimmers at most. Coffee maker didn't work in room, but the breakfast made up for it. Nice room layout.

Spacious room with privacy between spaces!

Stayed for the Iowa Games. Spacious room for a great price! I loved the coin laundry on site so I could wash my son’s uniform between days. My only complaint would be more comfortable beds. They weren’t terrible but they could be better. For one night and the price it’s to be expected. The staff was excellent and very friendly. The location was my favorite part! Close to everything we needed. Nice local pizza place for a quick dinner before bed. The stay was excellent.

We have stayed three times.. Rooms are not well insulated, so you get a lot of noise. Doors are heavy and when people let them close, they are loud. Breakfast granola was excellent. Quiche in the warming trays was just out of the fridge and cold. Morning buffett was pretty much wiped out around 9AM.
