The place is very clean and thereâs always a staff member available. However, because thereâs a nightclub behind the building, and itâs open 6 days a week, itâs very loud between 8pm and 3-4am. BRING EARPLUGS!! Thereâs also a pool hall above.
The showers donât have temperature control and they turn off every 20 seconds or so so you have to keep touching the sensor. The same with the light in the shower room so you have to keep stepping out of the shower to reactivate the light. Also, toilets are in a separate room from the shower and thereâs no hot water to wash your hands.
The kitchen is big and the staff takes cleanliness very seriously there which is great. But because there are dozens of guests, you have to get used to working around each other to get your meals cooked. There are three ovens and stoves with four burners on each stove-electric. Two huge refrigerators and a big freezer and if you havenât labeled your things properly (name and date checking out) they throw it away every Wednesday. Labels and pens provided.
The beds are as pictured and very comfortable, but thereâs no heat so it can get cold. They provided big comfortable comforters though.
If youâre there longer than a few days youâll get to know more people there and even meet the cat, Picaso, who wanders in from a local homeowner. LOL
Because of the noise, I might not stay here again. Otherwise it was nice.
