1. Decent location around minutes walk from Amstel Station and a 15 minute metro ride to Centraal. 2. Communal areas and rooms were clean. 3. Lovely rooftop bar: drinks usual hotel price but cocktails are nothing special. Literally soda, spirit and a bit of ice. 3. Rooms very hot with no air conditioning. We stayed at the end of June and it was unbearable. Awful nights sleep on hard beds.

Enjoyed my stay at Hotel Casa Amsterdam, as it is very close to Amstel Station which connects you to the whole city and the intercity train network. The rooms are small but well maintained, and the bathroom/shower facilities were in great condition. While perhaps obvious, it should be noted that the hotel rooms do NOT have air conditioning. This is not particularly clear from the Expedia listing. Given that it was quite warm, and we were on the 9th floor, we did find it a little hot and humid. The supplied fan was helpful, but it was a bit of an unfortunate surprise when we realized upon check-in that there was no A/C. All in all, I would stay there again and recommend the location in Amsterdam Oost.

Rooftop bar was great and had great views of Amsterdam. We had three days of over 30 weather and this hotel has no air conditioning. We did have a fan but honestly it was hot in my room my whole stay. Location was awesome as well .. close to great restaurants and an important transportation hub close by.

We were in a room with a door to the next room. The door isn’t well insulated. The guests next door must have been an elderly couple who were hard of hearing. They spoke on their speaker phone and we were able to hear the whole conversation. Plus they watched television at a high volume late into the night. We heard everything. It was hard for us to sleep.

I really liked it. It's a modern hotel with spacious common areas and spacious, minimalist-style accommodations. Amsterdam Amstel station is very close, providing easy access via public transportation to tourist attractions in Amsterdam and beyond. There's a Jumbo supermarket across the street from the station. There are also restaurants nearby.
