Beautiful, unique building with friendly staff. Room was clean, though there was a little dust on top of the TV. Excellent location next to the train station—just 11–13 minutes to Amsterdam Centraal.

The hotel is right next to the Zaandam train station and only 2 stops away from Amsterdam Central. If you are looking for a clean hotel, right next to shopping and dining and outside the busy city nights, this place is great. There is a shopping strip right near the hotel, with bars and dining options a 5 minute walk away. They have bicycles for use and getting back and forth from Amsterdam was a 11 minute train ride. We really liked the ability to unwind at night in quiet, but having easy access to the city and all of the canals, tours and attractions.

A little hard to charge things while out of room as we only had one key. Nice stay although room is a bit crowded with tv at end of bed and desk so close. Easy to hurt yourself getting up in the night. Bar staff very friendly.
