I was concerned after reading other reviews, but my experience was very positive. I chose this hotel due to its proximity to the Ziggo Dome arena and it was only a 20 minute, very pleasant stroll to the arena - also convenient for the Johan Cryuff arena for football matches. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom. I was on the first floor, overlooking the main road, but the room was really quiet. Internet access was great. I found all the staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was also very good in my opinion, with plenty of choice from the breakfast buffet. The area is very commercial and there is a lot of construction ongoing, but I was staying over the weekend, so I can’t comment on noise as a result of building work or traffic noise. As I ate at the arena, prior to the concerts I attended, I cannot comment on the eating options in the area. I would definitely stay at the Ozo again, if I was attending another concert at the Ziggo Dome.

Room nice and clean. Good size. Great location close to Johan Cruijff Arena. A bit unusual was glass walls for toilet and bathroom ( weird actually) Breakfast quite standard but did the job :) Overall good place for good money

Fine hotel, but no laundry

Hotel was fine, a lot of construction in area. Booked this hotel because it said it had laundry facilities, it did not.

The female at the front desk was rude checking in. The room smelled like cigarettes, the sheets were dirty as were the towels. There was hair everywhere. And the handle on the window was about to fall off when trying to open the window. The parking area is very small and hardly nowhere to park, very tight.

Lovely property with nice comfortable rooms. Friendly staff at reception and at the bar. The hotel is a short walking distance from the train station which is serviced by trains that take you into central Amsterdam. The hotel is also a short bus ride (2/3 stops) or 1 train stop away from the Arenas which is very convenient if you are visiting for a concert. There aren’t many options for food in the immediate vicinity but there is a restaurant in the hotel and a couple of places near the arenas.

We were able to hear the pipes in the walls every time someone above us used the toilet (or water in general), and it was quite annoying, especially at night. Additionally, there were flies in our room despite the windows being closed, so not sure how they got in. We killed the ones we saw, but more kept appearing each day. Make sure that if you do stay here, request that your room be cleaned daily when the reception asks you during check-in. We said no to daily cleaning, but assumed that our room would still be cleaned upon request. There is a sign that you can put up to request room cleaning (which we did), but our room was not cleaned once during our stay. There is a communal gym in the hotel, but I can't speak to that since we did not use it. The hotel was also very far away from the city center (around 40 min via public transport). The only pro was that it was relatively close to a train stop. Overall, probably would not stay again.

This was a lovely property overall, but unfortunately our stay was disrupted by constant building work that began as early as 6am, which made it difficult to rest. Additionally, one of the rooms had no phone, and none of the rooms provided bottled water—a basic amenity that most hotels typically include.

I was very disappointed that the hotel restaurant is closed at weekend I would usually be travelling alone when working so having amenities is really important to me, this should be made very clear on the hotel description and also that no room service is offered this was not clear when I booked the hotel
