## Neighborhood

This home is located next to the water which crosses Halfweg in the middle, a small drive to Spaarnwoude recreation park and of course Dutch oldest steam pumping station! This museum tells everything about pumping water in the year 1852. It is the oldest and largest working steam wheel pumping station in the world.

## Transit

There is a new train station in Halfweg! Only 10 minutes walk to Halfweg station and within 10 minutes you are in Haarlem or in Amsterdam. Zaanse Schans also an option!

Train is the best option to travel with. Takes less time.

Opposite the house is a fire station barracks. The siren is switched on only in the case of very serious emergencies.All other extensions are without noise.

Great location and very nice home. Close to transit so was an ideal central hub for trips to Amsterdam and Haarlem. Would definately rent again.

The house is very nice, but there was trash in some waste bins, a lot of empty bottles in the Kirche and the floors were not clean.

Spacious place

Place is very spacious and clean. Stairs are a little narrow. Water kettle was rusty but there were clean pots so we used it to boil water on the gas stove. Location is a bit far from Amsterdam central but if you’re willing to compromise for a bigger space this will be good

The stay was very pleasant and the house was spacious, clean and modern, which we really enjoyed with my friends! Everything went super smoothly all the way from booking to checking out. We left a bit late and we could have probably cleaned up a bit better after ourselves but there's only so many hours in a day and so much to see in Amsterdam. Location was great, shop was nearby but the Uber became expensive after couple of days. Only "negative" feedback I have is that the lock to our apartment was a bit questionable at times but we managed to lock it and unlock it on demand! :) The TV and oven was also set in Dutch so it was a bit difficult for us to figure out how to use the oven. Other than that it was an excellent stay and I would definitely recommend this for my friends and family, I would also stay here again :) Thank you!

Loved it!

First time using Airbnb and we where so lucky to have booked this Family Home. Very spacious,big rooms, amazing garden. Only downfall was that the kitchen didnt have a microwave and also the ketel was very rusty but we managed. The house is located in a very nice area next to the water,10min walk to shops,a big supermarket and also some restaurants. The train station is 10min walk away if u wanna get to Amsterdam Central it takes 11min, 2 stops. For sure I will be revisiting this house on my next trip to The Netherlands. Thank you for the experience ❀
