This is not a hotel or motel; it is an Airbnb-style apartment. There is no reception desk and no staff available to answer my questions. The room does not have a thermostat to adjust the temperature, and I was overheated every night during my four-day stay.

our favorite in anchorage

We have stayed at the Arctic Fox many times going in and out of Anchorage. It has always been comfortable and welcoming. Clean, well decorated and managed. Such a better experience than staying in another chain hotel. Jeff was a great on site host to our needs.

The unit was great, clean updated supplied with almost everything you would need for an extended stay. Easy acess The one thing i did not like. We had the two bedroom unit, the couch and chais super nice and comfortble, the room with two beds were so nice, then you get to the room with the queen bed and its a metal frame with a 4 inch thick foam pad not comfortable. It just seems like an oversight. Maybe they had replaced the matress and that matress was all they could find on short notice. This is the one and only thing that i could find wrong.
