Sand Lake Jewel - Near Airport, Shopping and the Best Sushi in Town!

Close proximity to South Anchorage shopping district and Anchorage International Airport. It's a great place to stay for stocking up on supplies or when easy access to the airport is important! Pets are welcome subject to approval and a $30 nightly charge per pet. The additional fee doesn't automatically calculate when booking, so we will charge the additional amount separately after confirmation. The unit is on the second and third levels of the property.

This spacious, remodeled two-bedroom apartment is in the great, south Anchorage location of Dimond and Jewel Lake. It's close to tons of shops, a variety of outstanding restaurants, medical facilities, activities, and just about anything you would want is less than a mile away. We have good WIFI, parking, and internet TV. There is laundry on-site, $1 for each. 4.5 miles to the airport/train station. The bedrooms have lots of space in drawers and closets, with comfortable queen sized beds. There is a bathroom with double vanities upstairs and a half bath downstairs in the common areas. The kitchen includes microwave, coffee pot, toaster, and has a dining area as well as a counter height bar for seating. We provide lots of extra towels, pillows, and blankets.

It is Self-check in with a lock box, so late check-in is not a problem. You'll be given the lock box code a few days prior to your arrival.

Check-in is at 4pm and check out is at 11am. We will offer you early check-in and late check-out options if it's available, a couple days before your arrival/departure for a fee of $25-$50 depending on your desired schedule and availability.

Pets are welcome, upon approval. Please inquire about monthly pet fees for long-term stays. If you feel that the pet fee is too expensive, and the value isn't there for you, please don't book this place. We want to offer pet friendly places and we want your business, but we want you to be happy. We strive to keep the properties clean for all guests, which this fee helps pay for. You'll be asked to rate the value of your experience, and If this fee creates a diminished value perception, then we hope you find another fabulous place for you and your pet to stay.

Host Kelli happens to be a co-owner of a large tour company with over 20 shore excursions throughout Alaska, mostly in Southeast. She offers 10% discount on all tours offered by Alaska Travel Adventures to her vacation rental guests. Unfortunately, Alaska Travel Adventures doesn't currently offer any day tours in the area. Easy check-in process – You'll be able to self-check in. Kelli will give you check-in details prior to arrival, including a lock box code. You'll be able to access the rental at your leisure after check-in time, at 4 pm. We offer early check-in options, if it's available a couple days prior to your arrival for $25-$50, depending on your arrival time.

Great Communication – Kelli is known to be responsive to guests before, during, and after their stay. You can expect prompt responses to your questions. She'll respond to web site messages as soon as she can.

Clean Accommodations – Your private apartment should be sparkling clean. Jill takes pride in taking care of our guests, and works hard to keep the property clean and maintained for you. If anything is awry, she is always eager to jump in and help, so let us know immediately. We'll do our best to fix it!

Great Location for shopping – This private apartment is not too far from the airport and close to South Anchorage's main shopping district. You'll find the Dimond Center Mall, Walmart, Costco, Fred Meyer, Best Buy, Bed, Bath and Beyond, Michaels, Petco, Cabellas, and many more major brand stores. Skinny Raven is at the end of the street, selling great running shoes and gear, with a track, technology, and people to help you find the right shoes for you. There are lots of places to dine, Cambell Creek Train is close, and there is ice skating, bowling, and movies in the Dimond Center Mall. This is not downtown, which is vastly more expensive, so this location should not be compared to the downtown location if that's what where you would rather be.

Great Value – Anchorage can be very expensive, especially during our peak season. This is an affordable option for groups of up to six people, with full kitchen, so you can save money on food and entertainment, while still enjoying the many fun/great things in Anchorage.
