Property was exactly as described and our large party had a wonderful week of skiing. The mule deer were so tame they would eat from our hands and it was incredible. I'm dinging a little on the cleanliness only because it was obvious the house was thoroughly cleaned and then vacant for a while. We paid a huge premium for the week after Christmas so the property manager should have done a walk-through before we arrived since it needed vacuuming. Overall a great time, beautiful property, and would stay again.
First thing you notice is the odor from the home which isnât pleasant. The counters still had build up on them from the last renters. We had trouble with one of the indoor fireplaces not working and the outdoor grill didnât function properly either. The kitchen sink was leaking. The property manager left extreme minimal supplies to use for cleaning. We had to go to the local store for trash bags and dish detergent. The location wasnât bad, but wonât be booking this location again.
The home was lovely and the check in process was super easy. The only thing that wouldâve made it easier is a pin pad entry but no big deal! The deck was nice and having access from three different rooms was wonderful. The only downside was the deck having no comfortable seating. People come from the city to enjoy the outdoors and listen to the birds and watch wildlife... My elderly parents were traveling with us and they could not sit outside in the morning or evenings to drink a coffee unless they were willing to stand which was a true disappointment for them so that was a little heartbreaking to watch. The older you get; is the little things that matter the most! Overall this was a great stay and I would highly recommend it to younger families and groups who donât mind stairs. The hiking trails were very close by and the wildlife in the area is unmatched⊠We saw a deer every night and the biggest red robins youâve probably ever seen in your life! Iâll give this house 4 stars...Invest in some comfortable outdoor seating and maybe a table to have breakfast & outside meals And this house gets five stars! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely home!
