Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. Building on outside not great. Garbage/cigarettes on ground near entrance. Curtains hanging in window look filthy from the outside looking in. Carpet in hallways are stained and need to be replaced. Elevator dirty for the two days we were there. Floors in lobby area needed to be swept and cleaned up more. Shades in one room we stayed in were broken. Shades also let in too much sun in the morning. Hallways had an odd smell/kinda musty.

We checked into our room june 13 a Friday and I thought it must have been a prank on us but it wasn’t. There was blood on the light switch upon entering the room. We called a housekeeper over to look and she tried to say it was make up. It was blood. I snapped a picture of it and went downstairs to complain. They gave us a new room and apology but no other discount or any kind of accommodation for the obvious inconvenience of moving to a new room. We definitely won’t be back. Lesson learned even though we read reviews.

Stayed three nights and did not receive maid service at all. Was told at the front desk that room cleaning was an extra $40.00 per night. Dated facility in dire need of renovation and updating. The grass around the property had not been cut and was on average one-two feet tall. Overall a very disappointing stay.

I can't believe Expedia had this rated as an 8.0. it's a 6.0 at best. The pool was closed, the grass wasn't cut (it was knee high), the parking lot was riddled with potholes, and we were there 4 days \ 3 nights and they never cleaned the room. The rooms were fine, the beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet, so that aspect was fine. But common areas were dirty and the condition of the property weren't great. I think the Expedia 8.0 rating is misleading. I likely wouldn't stay again unless there was a huge price spread.
