Enjoy a peaceful visit to the heart of Ohio in this quiet and cozy cottage. The Buss Stop offers great amenities to unwind and relax, including a private porch, full-service kitchen, two sitting/living rooms, and a private covered carport. The Buss Stop is located in quaint Apple Creek, Ohio and is in close proximity to Wooster, OH. We are just a short drive from notable local points of interest, such as the College of Wooster, Wayne County Fairgrounds, The Ohio State University’s agricultural research facilities, and various Amish country attractions.

In addition to the listed amenities, The Buss Stop also has a gas grill (with provided propane tank) and an outdoor fire pit for guests to use.

Amazing Weekend!

Our stay at the Buss cottage was amazing. Could not have ask for better hosts! The love and dedication invested in the cottage were evident. The immaculate and serene atmosphere, combined with personal touches, created a memorable weekend. Check-in was effortless, and the cottage was equipped for in-cottage dining & relaxation. We look forward to returning in the fall next year.

Owner Paul was very friendly and helpful. Nice fire pit area. Owner provided an excellent Cinnamon Loaf etc. Temperature control in the house was good. We enjoyed the living room area and the TV. The house was very clean. Washer and dryer were nice to have. Beds were comfortable. Good maps and brochures about the area were helpful.

Our family of five had a wonderful stay at the Buss Stop. Although we were away most of the time, the house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Beautiful quiet area to relax and unwind. Gorgeous property if you’re looking for a place to sit and unwind. 15 minute drive to Wooster where you can find some great restaurants and shops. Nice layout if you have children or a second couple where you need some separate areas. Upstairs bedroom height is a bit cramped and stairs are a little tricky but the overall property is great!

We took our family to the NFL Hall of Fame and had a fantastic experience. We loved relaxing in the countryside and enjoy the peaceful location. This is a beautiful location and id love to stay here again.

Amish Getaway

Paul and Sandy were great hosts. Paul was very friendly and enjoyed our chats. Enjoyed the Amish countryside and enlightened on their way of life. The guys visited the NFL Pro Hall of Fame which was close. Home had everything needed and was peaceful and restful. Loved the blooming of dogwoods and tulips. Would visit again, if in the neighborhood.

Beautiful inside & out

We absolutely loved our stay at The Buss Stop. The property is beautiful and the house inside was perfect. Truly a home away from home. We met the owner, Paul, shortly after our arrival. He was very kind and we enjoyed learning about this Buss Stops history. Thank you Paul and Sandy for providing such a wonderful experience. The hosts were amazing to work with & responsive!!! The cinnamon rolls waiting when we arrived were an added bonus!! The house was clean & worked perfect for our group - small & cute!! We did find a few bugs, but with the location & time of year, it seemed understandable!

Fall Getaway

We enjoyed our time at the Buss Stop--it was a quaint but updated cottage with lots of history. The loft area was so comfortable and the rest of the house was as well. The kitchen was very well stocked. The location was not only beautiful, but also very convenient to area shopping and eating out. Paul and Sandy were wonderful hosts! We would definitely stay here again!

It's A 10!!!!!!!

An ideal home offering the perfect opportunity for a restful and relaxing stay. A clean, comfortable and well-thought-out home. Other than our own food, there was nothing more we could have asked for: comfortable bed and furniture, plenty of hot water for showers, and a want for not kitchen. The hosts were extremely helpful and easy to reach if needed. Already looking forward to our return visit.
