The cabin is super cute and tiny. Perfect for our family of 3. Love the neighborhood and location close to everything. If you hike, check out top of the world! Only 5 minute drive away and oh so beautiful. My only critique would be the main window above the kitchen sink is stained glass and I find that silly given the fact that you blocked out the main most beautiful view. Otherwise this cabin is perfect!
When we arrived at the cabin, it looked just as advertised and initially seemed great. However, as we settled in, several issues quickly became apparent. First, the fridge was barely working, and the freezer didnât function at all, leaving us unable to properly store the food we had brought for the week. Then, we discovered that the toilet wouldnât flush, forcing us to manually lift the lid to flush it.Heating was another major problem. While the bedrooms and bathroom had individual heaters that worked fine, the main living area relied on an inefficient heating unit that couldnât keep the space warm. Throughout our stay, we struggled to get the cabin temperature above 65Fâfar from comfortable. Hoping for some warmth, we tried to use the gas fireplace, which was a central feature of the cabin, only to find it was completely non-functional.The frustrations continued. The next morning, we looked forward to a warm cup of coffee, but despite having a coffee maker, the rental did not provide any coffee. Just when we thought things couldnât get worse, my two young daughters ran out of their bedroom covered in antsâan unsettling discovery.Despite multiple complaints to the rental company (Vasca), the response was minimal, leaving us to endure the stay as best we could. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and unless the owners address these issues, I wouldnât recommend staying in this cabin.
Just right for two people and thankfully, our two dogs. This little cottage is beautiful, warm (once we figured out how to use the wall mounted mini split, lol) and so inviting. Though thereâs two double beds and two twin beds, Iâm glad there was just the two of us staying there as the sofa only seats two people, and thereâs only one other seat in the living area. Wait until you smell the air in Arnold. Its heavenly!
The stay overall was good, place wasnt big but just enough for 4 of us. Wifi wasnt super strong, but it was probably due to the weather.
Communication was lacking and delayed but it was probably due to holidays.
Just note for others, if you decide to check in earlier a bit like we did, please let a place at least a week before. Cleaning at this place is done right before 4pm
The same thing with check out. Since its at 10am, which is very early in my opinion considering check in is not until 4pm.
Thank you
