Welcome to this beautiful waterfront home in the quiet Cool Spring Cove of the Magothy River in Arnold, MD. Not only does this home have beautiful views, but it also has a pool and pier. Enjoy your morning beverage on the private deck overlooking the pool and water views. Use the propane grill to host a waterfront BBQ on the pool deck or under the umbrella on the deck. The home has 4 Queen Bedrooms, 3 of which have water views, and 3 full baths. Pool opens mid-May and closes mid-October.

The pool is shared with the lower-level 1 bedroom/1 bath apartment (not included with the main house rental). Inquire about reserving the lower unit and/or adding a privacy fee for the entire space (for less than the nightly rental rate). The space has a living room with a sleeper sofa, full kitchen and washer/dryer and sleeps up to 4 more guests.

Watch the Wednesday night Sailboat races in the Fall - visible from the property's deck. Ride your bikes to one of the family parks nearby, enjoy some outdoor dining at the popular award-winning "The Point Crab House & Grill" less than 2 miles away, or stand-up paddleboard (BYO) on the serene waters of the cove. Located just 15 minutes to Downtown Annapolis and the Naval Academy, the Cool Spring Cove is the perfect place for families to unwind and relax while in town for Annapolis sight-seeing and events.

It was no longer pool season so the pool question is irrelevant. The house was perfect for our kind of stay. The view is incredible. The beds are comfy and the kitchen was big enough for our busy mornings.

Peaceful and clean property with nice accommodations and bedrooms. Living and kitchen area is a little small for larger groups to gather at the same time. Deck outside living room is great for sunrise and sunset. Very peaceful. Time of year did not allow to use all of accommodations of pool area. Access to lake is significantly inclined and numerous steps so that could limit access to some visitors. Deck is weathered and some areas need repair. A bit isolated from restaurants but convenient to Annapolis and surrounding area by car.

Better than any hotel!

We work the NJ parents club tailgate at all Navy home games. We feed all the Mids who come to eat. Friends and family wanted to join in. The home was a beautiful touch to a busy weekend. Hosts were very thoughtful, leaving little kits in each bathroom, and even in the kirchen. Including coffee setup! Beds were cozy, home was clean, view of cove was awesome! If we weren't so tired. I'm sure we would of enjoyed the sunrise from the eastward facing wall of windows!

View is worth it

The location is great with close proximity to Annapolis and Baltimore. The view is what is most amazing and the pool is a must have for those hot days. The bedrooms were great for privacy with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath on the first floor and 2 bedrooms/2baths upstairs. The living area is quite small with a couch and a lazy boy in the corner. It’s not a great layout for group conversation and hanging out inside. However the outside has a great deck for warm days/nights and the poolside is also very spacious. If you are going to use the pool bring your own pool towels as they are not supplied. The house was clean and the interior is a bit dated. The upstairs carpets could be replaced as they are very old and stained. The house worked great for our group of four. If you had 6 or more the inside living area would feel cramped. Though, if it’s the summer/spring the deck adds wonderfully to the living space. We had a great time.

The pool and view of the lake were lovely. The house not so much.

The pool and view of the lake were lovely. The house not so much. The refrigerator was dirty and growing mold and the coffee machine was also dirty. There was a dirty tissue on the floor of the bedroom. The living room incredibly had no lights so it was difficult to congregate there in the evening although it was the only place to gather. We found no utensils for the grill and the wi fi was poor, sometimes cutting out entirely. There were very dangerous wall shelves in the living room sticking out right in the path of the porch door and around the table. Several people were hurt by those shelves

Great Location & Property

Our family totally enjoyed everything about this property and location. We had a great experience staying here. The location was great for relatives to stop by and visit. Plenty of room and we did a little swimming in the pool and fishing & crabbing off the dock. The home was great, everyone hung out together. No one felt the need to go anywhere. Perfect vacation!
