So Thoughtfully Equipped

We were so impressed with how much was provided at the condo— we have stayed in VRBOs often and brought with us many things we’ve needed at other places and found every single one of them already at the condo. The view of the lake is stunning and the condo is so beautiful inside, we loved that there were multiple king beds! We come to Okoboji a few times every year and have stayed in many cabins and condos but plan to stay here every time we visit going forward! The hosts were so attentive, texting me while I struggled to unlock the door before I even reached out and communicated so well throughout the weekend when they knew they wouldn’t be available for an extended period of time was just so thoughtful and kind.

This was a very nice condo. It was spacious and very well maintained. It was well stocked with all the essentials. It was very clean. Excellent location. Was quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Ideal in every way!

Allison's condo worked superbly for our extended family of nine, ranging in age from 4.5 to 98.5! The mobility challenges of my aged mother were well accommodated by the layout of the condo, as well as its walk-in shower in the master suite, and the building's elevator system. (Note: There ARE rather long halls from the elevator to the condo, on the 4th floor, but Mom has a walker with a seat in it, so this enabled us to push her down the halls versus expecting her to walk...and we could leave her wheelchair in the car.) The condo is furnished with everything one needs. We prepare our own meals, and found the kitchen to be abundantly supplied -- from pots, pans, cutting board and colander to air fryer, toaster, and a full spice rack! And good knives! The swimming pool/water park is NOT in Allison's condo building, as we'd imagined from the pix, but is four buildings away in the same complex. Still close enough to utilize with small children after a day at the beach, BUT the parking lots do NOT have sidewalks, so careful adult supervision is absolutely required. Allison is a responsive and caring host. The location is superb. Excellent access to beaches on Okoboji, and Arnold's Park amusement park is just a few minutes away. The view from condo and deck of the lake is a memory we all will cherish! This condo enabled my mother and me to fulfill our wishes for a successful return to Lake Okoboji after 6 decades away!!!!
