Private Casita in the Aspens
A charming casita at the base of the mountain in the prime location of Arroyo Seco. Offering privacy and peace next to an Aspen grove with incredible views. Minutes from the village of Arroyo Seco that offers a grocery store, cafe and 2 restaurants. The house has a fenced in area for dogs outside. Just 12 miles to Taos Ski Valley (20-30 minutes depending on traffic).
The picture is an old one. The property is so overgrown with chest high brush and waist high grasses you can hardly walk around the property. There remains of stone lined paths and even a nice little bridge so it wasnât always like this. And just to make things interesting thereâs an old roll of barbed wire in the tall grass by the gate for your dog to get entangled in. You can judge a person by how they maintain their property. Thereâs no mention that I could find of the 60 fee for having a dog youâre socked with after you leave. We wonât be back but will pass the word around.
We were very impressed with our stay! It was extremely cozy and the owners very helpful when we had questions. Would highly recommend it to anyone needing a nice quiet getaway. The horses next door were the best surprise.
Very beautiful property nestled up next the the mountains with rabbits, chipmunks and birds. Wonderfully lanscped to bring out natural vegetation. A wonderful getaway for reading, thinking, and grounding oneself. Will definitly try to go back in the holidays. Its so cosy and inviting
Lovely cabin in a beautiful location. We really appreciated being able to hike straight from the front door. The sound of birds echoing through the bedroom window made for a truly peaceful getaway.
The casita and area are absolutely beautiful. The NM ambiance was spot-on. It is lovely and quiet. Met the most beautiful Australian Shepherd I have ever seen. He had a cone on and was not a happy camper. Loved him. The stay was wonderful. One slight complaint was a lack of paper supplies and tall glasses. Otherwise, very nice. Thank you Morgaine. Beautiful!
