Beware!

This place is not a backpackers hostel. Its in the middle of nowhere. 50min walk along muddy roads to town. I received 1 meal (excluding black coffee and plain bread for breakfast) in 4 days. As soon as they realise you are not buying a tour, they don't care. No toilet paper, soap. Nobody spoke English to ask anything.

Værste ophold nogensinde

Vi ankommer til hotellet kl 19, her er meget ulækkert. Poolen så beskidt Og der flyder med døde dyr i den, så vandoverfladen næsten er dækket. Værelset er som sådan ok til prisen, hvis bare de havde gjort rent, skiftet sengetøj fra sidste besøgende, husket toiletpapir og sat et gardin op for det store vindue på badeværelset hvor alle kan kigge ind fra poolområdet. Personalet var egentlig søde nok og fik da hentet toiletpapir, om aftenen fik vi en drink med personalet på hotellet, som egentlig var rigtig søde. Da vi tager hjem næste dag leder vi efter noget personale men der er ingen på hele stedet så vi lister efter 30 min ventetid af velvidende at vi jo havde betalt via hotels.com appen. Nede i byen møder vi damen som styrer hotellet og hun går amok og kalder os for tyve og at vi skal betale for vores overnatning. De påstår at prisen via hotels.com kun er et depositum på 25% og at vi skal betale yderlige 700kr for opholdet. Vi griner lidt af det men efterhånden er de en masse som er sure og går efter os i byen. Efter ca. En time diskussion og bevis fra os med kvittering fra hotels.com kommer de igennem til ejeren som har sovet til over middag fordi han havde været til fest, som med det samme siger st vi da har betalt alt. Fint af ham. Men det ændre ikke på hvor dårlig servicen er og den behandling vi har fået ned gennem byen. Desuden var det heldigt at vi kan tale swahili, for ellers havde man helt sikkert haft problemer med kommunikationen i forbindelse med udtjekning

Hostel in einer Baustelle außerhalb von Arusha

Wir sind frisch in Tansania gelandet und haben über das Hostel einen Airportshuttle für 40$ gebucht. Dieser war nicht da und wir mussten ewig rumtelefonieren bis nach über 1 h endlich jemand kam. Das Hostel liegt außerhalb von Arusha und ist sozusagen eine Baustelle. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung mit Moskitonetz und warmer Dusche. Allerdings stinkt es im Bad manchmal brutal :( Also keine zu großen Erwartungen haben!!!! Die sitzecke unten ist gemütlich und das Essen ist auch sehr gut! Wir sind einmal mit dem Dalladalla im die Stadt gefahren aber wussten nicht wie wir wieder zurück kommen, war ziemlich crazy!! Nelson hat uns eine coole Safari organisiert, aber wir hatten manchmal das Gefühl dass wir bisschen abgezockt werden.... er wusste nicht dass wir das Zimmer schon bezahlt hatten. Im Großen und ganzen okay für eine günstige Nacht aber wir haben uns nicht sehr wohl gefühlt.
