This cozy one bedroom condo is all about location. Just a block from Asheville`s busiest downtown thoroughfare where you`ll find the historic Mast General Store, the Fine Arts Theater, James Beard Award winning restaurants, live music venues, galleries, shops, museums, and even a local grocery store! There just isn`t a better spot to stay in Asheville!

This condo is located in a secured building that is accessible with a unique PIN. There is ONE dedicated parking spot for this condo; any additional vehicles must park elsewhere (no exceptions). *PLEASE NOTE* Vehicles must not exceed 7,000 lbs- Large trucks, RVs, Vans, Trailers, or Boats are not permitted

We loved our VRBO. It was spotless. Great amenities. Great location. Excellent security. We felt very safe. Neighborhood was quiet. It would have been very helpful to us to have access to the front door for loading and unloading our luggage. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location, nice unit, very clean, decently stocked kitchen. No complaints really, but we’ve been spoiled recently by two other recent stays at VRBOs in Asheville. The linens, utensils, cookware felt more like a chain hotel and could use an upgrade to get a 5-star.

The location was great for my purposes. Shopping reasonably nearby. The only thing I would mention is that I didn't pay attention that this unit is on street level which made me a little nervous staying there by myself as a woman. But it ended up not being an issue at all.

No smoking was a no go.

Property rule for no smoking anywhere on property was a no go for my smoking wife. At prior rentals made through Vrbo, smoking permitted on balcony or open areas. Specific rules received in email 4 days before arrival. Shame on me for not getting details up front. Expensive mistake.

Spring 2024 in Asheville, NC

My hubby and I stayed in this condo for 1 week while in Asheville for a family wedding. The condo is in a great location. Easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants in downtown Asheville. There is also a small park right across the street. The Paxton Key app we had to download to our phones to gain entery into the parking lot and the public doors worked very well for us. The king bed is comfortable and it has a great bathroom and closet. My only complaint is that the kitchen has only the most basic of pots/pans and utensils. If you are going to be doing much food prep or cooking you might want to bring any specialty items you need/want. The management team did responded quickly when we contacted them for a can opener and a few extra wash cloths so we did not have to do laundry every day.

Wonderful condo in an excellent location

Getting into the building and unit was a breeze. The space was bright, clean, and comfortable. Location is A+. We love that it’s a short walk to everything. We’d absolutely rent here again.

Easy all around

Location - very short walk to all the shopping and restaurants. Free and close parking - made it easy to load/unload and drive to nearby places without the worry of looking for a parking spot. The place was clean, open, and quiet. Lots of countertop space in the kitchen and bathroom to lay out your stuff.

Great location

The location of this property is great. Just a short walk to great shops and restaurants. Very secure building as well. Condo was nice and clean. The only complaint would be it is a little loud from the street noise and residents above. We brought a sound machine and it helped drown out some of the extra noise. Overall, this is a great property to stay at.

Comfortable condo

This first-floor condo was a great place to stay in downtown Asheville. Short walk to many restaurants and breweries. Well-maintained and outfitted with high-end finishes. Parking and building entry requires a smartphone app and was a little finicky at times and was only valid for one user, so my partner and I always had to travel into and out of the building together.

Close to everything in town

Perfect Location

First, the very minor negatives. Getting in the back door was a challenge. It took a mighty yank. Figuring out how to get into the front door was an IQ test that I failed. The kitchen has an odd assortment of flatware and other things. No measuring cups or spoons. The positives -- Beautiful property in a perfect location. Comfortable bed, chairs, and sofa. High quality smart TVs. New appliances including a washer and dryer. Quiet and safe surroundings. We loved it.

Quick get away

We had difficulty getting into the building. Front door blue tooth lock was not working. An owner took pity on us and helped us to get in. Another owner told us some more information that was not in our description which helped us to figure out the whole system. The unit was nice and suited our needs, but 6:30 Am construction started outside our window with a cage on the side of the building that beeped any time it moved. It was awful! I called towns property management so they could hear how horrible it was and no one bothered to call me back!!! At 11:00 AM I got an email that said there was construction going on that day! Next morning, 6:00Am, we were awakened by what we thought was very loud thunder, but ended up being dumpsters being emptied right across the street. It definitely wasn’t what we were hoping for.

Very nice place, in a great location. Only issue was the day we were to check out (by 11), someone was unlocking the door to come in around 9:50. I guess they thought we had already left but it startled me as I was getting dressed.

Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and provided all of our basic needs. The best thing was the location, we could walk to everything. The only day we got in our car was to visit the Biltmore which was a very short drive. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting Ashvile.

Great location but issues getting in the building when it rained

The apartment was overall very nice and clean and was in an excellent location that made it easy to walk to breweries and restaurants downtown. The bed was comfortable and the building was quiet. We really enjoyed our stay, but there were a few drawbacks. One is that the kitchen supplies were VERY limited. Although there were pots and pans, there were no measuring cups, spoons or mixing bowls to help with cooking, and there was only one cutting board. The other major drawback was that when it rained, the exterior keypad that allowed you to access the building stopped working entirely, so we couldn't get in the building on multiple occasions. The buttons wouldn't press, the codes wouldn't work and some of the buttons straight-up fell off. Thankfully there were people inside who saw us trying to get in and let us in, but otherwise we would not have been able to get inside at all! I will say that the property management company responded VERY quickly to our messages, which was much appreciated. Unfortunately, the alternate key code they gave us wasn't much help when the keypad mechanically would not function. If the exterior building access was fixed and they added a few more cooking supplies, this would be a 10 out of 10 property.

75th Birthday Reunion

This property was very clean and so very accessible to the downtown area of Asheville, all of the restaurants and museums. We had 3 couples all staying in the same complex. We were able to enjoy cocktails and games before and after dinner out. So much fun. Great location. Bring earplugs bc the trash truck does come by every morning before 7:30 and is quite loud.

Great location and condo!

The location to downtown was fantastic. We could walk everywhere and we loved seeing the murals outside in the park area. If there was a downside it has to do with the kitchen area. If you plan to cook, the condo doesn't have spices, oven baking pans, storage containers and serving dishes. My family elected to eat in a few nights and found out the kitchen was missing a few items to make it effortless. There was noise given its on the first level and the upstairs neighbors we did hear, but it never keep us up at night. I'd absolutely stay here again and hopefully more items can be added to the kitchen for those who enjoy cooking.
