The check in went fine James was very helpful and nice, room was fine, clean the two only things I didn’t like was that they came to clean the room at 8am!! We were sleeping, and the second day big bangs wake us up!! We had a scuffle in our window and they were working on putting stucco on our wall, Construction!, that we didn’t know about

While the area is not easily walkable, it is a short and easy car ride to downtown. The hotel itself has been recently remodeled, but the bathrooms are a tad rundown and require deep cleaning. Otherwise, the stay offered exactly what we needed: comfortable and roomy accommodation.

We went there excited to use their hot tub. Unfortunately, the hot tub had been broken for weeks. They had us call Expedia. It took 10 minutes but we were able to cancel our reservation and we were not charged any money. I appreciate the hotel’s flexibility. It did look nice from the lobby and the front desk staff was very nice.

Very Helpful

James the Front Desk Clerk made sure that my stay was great. Anything that I requested, he made sure that I had. My Mom visited me at the hotel and had to do some work on the computer in the lobby. James made sure that she had the information that she needed to get online and get connected to the site that she needed to get on to get her work done. I also left my card at the hotel, and James called me and told me that the housekeeping staff had found it. I am not from NC, so I told him to shred the card; and I would just get a new one.

Great location. Breakfast available but walking distance to waffle house. Short drive to downtown, shopping & restaurants. Great bed, bedding and pillows. I rate the water pressure 3 out of 5 (good but not great) quiet location and friendly staff.

The hotel is under construction, so there was scaffolding all around. The room was nice and as advertised, but there are no black out drapes, so we had a bright light from the parking lot shining directly into our room all night. Also, the TV remote was a replacement, and didn't go with the TV, so when you pushed one button, it would randomly choose a different option, and it was unusable. Breakfast was awesome, the place was clean and comfortable, and parking was good.
