Cozy Mountain Top Cabin 13 Acres Near Dupont State Forest-Pet Friendly-Wifi- EV

This charming cabin, 'Deer Run,' is situated on a beautiful, private setting, surrounded by Hemlocks, Mountain Laurel, Rhododendron, and Holly Trees at 3,000 feet on the top of Black Knob Mountain. Located in Pisgah Forest Estates, the cabin is in a private neighborhood, secluded from the main house where the owners live.

It has one bedroom with a queen size bed, a spacious loft with twin beds, two full baths, a great room with a cathedral ceiling and stone fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, sunroom, covered back porch, and a stack washer and dryer. The cabin has two TV's one with a built-in DVD player, and WiFi. There is a Tesla Charger available on the property upon request.

You will love this location. It is so close to spectacular waterfalls and hiking trails. Written in Bike Magazine, Brevard is home to some of the best bike riding in the country. Also close is Brevard Music Center, renowned nationwide for its summer musical presentations. The Flat Rock Theatre only 16 miles from our cabin provides an incredible array of plays, musicals, and concerts. If you just want to stay on top of the mountain, there are miles of scenic trails you can explore.

We had a wonderful time at the Cozy Mountain Top Cabin. The property was so comfortable and truly was a cozy stay. Everything was spotlessly clean. The hostess was so helpful and accommodating. We had everything we needed and then some. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace and the sunroom with the chilly temperatures outside. We were able to get out and explore the grounds around the cabin, too. Such a lovely spot. We would definitely enjoy coming back for another stay. Thanks again for a lovely vacation.

Cozy mountain top cabin exceeded expectations! The cabin sits at the top of a mountain nestled among beautiful trees. It is so private and peaceful. The drive up the mountain is very easy. The location was perfect for us as we hiked every day. But there was so much other stuff to do in the area. Communication with host was easy and cabin had everything you could need. We will definitely be coming back here!!! Thank you!

Sandra was very friendly and accommodating. The cabin was clean and everything worked! Sandra even supplied firewood for the fireplace; and I love a good fire! Sandra even allowed me to unexpectedly extend my stay by one night at the end of the reservation. I would absolutely go again!

We always have enjoyed our stay in NC. Our host is very welcoming and enjoyed visiting the area in Pisgah Forest, Brevard, and Hendersonville. The cabin and location were just perfect for a weekend away from work and the daily grind. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch and literally hearing nothing but nature. Pisgah Forest Retreat

This secluded cottage in the peaceful setting of the Pisgah Forest, was just what we needed for a week of relaxation, hiking, delicious restaurants, and shopping with easy access to downtown Brevard, Hendersonville and Asheville. Our host was most hospitable and the accommodations were clean, comfortable and afforded us every convenience of a home away from home. We would definitely return.
