An Aging Beauty

Built in 1986, the hotel is just fine. It is showing its age, lacking the openness of more modern hotel lobbies. The breakfast offerings were OK, though near the end of the 6-9 a.m. window, when the attendant was asked if she had additional syrup for the waffles, she replied, "No!" That negated any tip she might have received. Our room was spacious and clean, with a TV that offered more stations than usual, including some premium choices. Our bed was comfortable, and the A/C was quiet. In the bathroom, the toilet was low to the ground, and the sink did not give too much room for personal possessions. Overall, though, we were satisfied with the accommodations.

This was our first time at this property. Very nice place and staff was friendly. The front desk clerk even assisted my husband with downloading the first football game of the season 😊. The only issue we had was the noise from the expressway at night. That can be easily solved by requesting a room on the other side of the hotel the next rime we stay here. Because we will be coming back.

The place was nice and clean. However, had problems in the bathroom. The commode handle was loose and there were problems with flushing. There was also a problem with the shower nozzle. It was very difficult adjusting the water temperature as the nozzle kept turning 360 degrees. Disappointed in the breakfast that was offered and advertised. Informed at check-in that breakfast was between 6:00 am til 10:00 am. However, food was gone by 8:00 a.m. and was not replenished.
