The owner, Sakis, was very friendly and responsive to questions. He went above and beyond when we found out at the last minute that the taxi drivers were on strike, causing the metro to be crazy busy and helped us find a ride to the ferry port. The view from the roof deck is amazing and the location is within walking distance of restaurants and shops! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you Sakis, for a wonderful first experience in Athens.

Loved everything about Acro & Polis. The location is unbeatable, you are in the heart of Plaka near excellent restaurants, shopping and within walking distance to all we wanted to see. Sakis reached out to us before we arrived and was helpful in arranging dinner reservations for us. He gave us great advise and offered to arrange transportation. Don't miss the roof top terrace, the view is fabulous.

Greeted by staff on arrival who helped with luggage and showed us to our room and the rooftop sitting area with a beautiful view of the city. 1st floor apartment had 2 bedrooms and kitchen area with basics including coffee. Salis made sure we had a taxi waiting for us at the airport. Made sure we had water juice and wine in our refrigerator. He even stopped by to make sure everwas to our liking and to see if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Amazing location and rooftop view

Location is excellent. You can walk to acropolis in 10 mins. Walk to some great restaurants with patios or rooftops for dinner, then grab a bottle of wine and watch the sunset and chill on the hotel rooftop with a fantastic view of the city. Sakis is a great communicator and will make sure your stay is comfortable.

The property we stayed in for our trip to Athens was amazing! The location was perfect and near to all of the sights we wanted to visit such as the acropolis. Our host was wonderful! Hospitable, kind, accommodating. He met us when we arrived showed us how everything worked. Even called ahead to a restaurant for lunch and then walked us to it! I would highly recommend a stay there! The location couldn't have been better. With a view of the Acropolis from our room and the panoramic view of the city from the roof top deck was incredible! We will be back!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Acro & Polis! The location couldn’t be better—everything was close by, and the surroundings were simply beautiful. The host was incredibly attentive and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. They provided us with fantastic recommendations that truly enhanced our experience. While you could occasionally hear people walking by at night if they were loud, it didn’t bother us at all and added to the charm of staying in such a vibrant area. We truly appreciated the personal touches and the warm hospitality we received throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Acro & Polis to anyone looking for a memorable stay in this wonderful area!

The Acro & Polis was absolutely the key to us having the most incredible vacation while in Athens. The rooftop patio offers breathtaking views of the Acropolis as well as the surrounding area full of shops and restaurants. Sakis Gerodimos was extremely helpful with directions, transportation, tickets and whatever we needed to make our stay spectacular. His restaurant suggestions were wonderful. The staff were friendly, the room clean and comfortable and having a kitchenette was a real asset. We went to a neighborhood market for some charcuterie items, added a bottle of wine and had the most amazing and relaxing meal on the rooftop patio. Memories that will last us a lifetime! The location was perfect as we walked to the famous attractions that we wanted to see and felt safe, even very late at night. We highly recommend Acro & Polis and especially Sakis Gerodimos.
