Overall satisfied
I came to Athens to get some sunshine and see some monuments. I read a lot of good reviews about this place on a different site so I decided to book it. Vasilii was quick to respond and was able to accommodate me for early check-in so I didn't have to wait, for which I am very grateful. He met me at the building and walked me up to the apartment, which is on the second floor. He explained everything to me and told me to reach out with any questions. Later that night I did have a question and he was very quick to respond. The location is pretty central to everything if you want to experience a little bit of everything that Athens has to offer.
Pros:
-The beach is a 20 minute walk straight down
-There is a tram stop right by the beach, or a 10 minute walk toward the marina
-The bus stop to go into the centre is 5 minutes away
-Everything is easily accessible by foot, tram, or bus
-The apartment is spacious, light, and no weird smells!
-I never felt unsafe, even coming back when it got dark.
Cons:
-I personally found the bed too firm (and I sleep on a firm mattress at home) so I ended up sleeping on the couch
-The street below is pretty busy so there is always noise, especially with how many people ride motorbikes. This may not bother everyone but I am a very light sleeper.
-The towels, although clearly washed, are stained and not white anymore.
Overall I am satisfied. The cost was decent and it's better to have your own place for longer stays than living out of a hotel.
