Ampelokipoi is one of Athens’ busiest and most vibrant areas, home to government buildings, corporate offices, hospitals, and the famed Apostolos Nikolaidis Stadium, where Panathinaikos football club plays. The area is full of everyday amenities such as supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, and traditional tavernas, ensuring visitors have everything they need within walking distance. At the same time, it is just a short metro ride from Syntagma Square, Kolonaki, Monastiraki, and the Acropolis, making it a superb base for exploring the capital. Lycabettus Hill, one of Athens’ most iconic viewpoints, is also close by, offering spectacular city sunsets and views stretching to the sea.

Once we collect this fee, we pay it in full directly to the government as a tax.

Unfortunately, we are not allowed to waive, reduce, or absorb this fee, no matter the circumstances.

Payment is required before check-in, as per Greek law.

We completely understand this might be frustrating, and we sincerely wish we could make it easier for you. However, we are legally obligated to comply, and without this payment, check-in is not permitted.
