Find anywhere else in Athens, Georgia to stay

This is obviously a hotel that has hit the bottom of the barrel and has had minimal very minimal upkeep and remodeling ever done on it. Just very out of date and the room had to have a small like purchase from Walmart dehumidifier in the middle of the room to try to help with some of the moisture and muggy smell that was in there and it really still didn't do it, probably one of the worst hotels I have had to stay at and last 6 to 8 months.

Moldy, Dirty, No follow up from complaints. All of the walls and carpet were filthy, the room had a large mold spot, surfaces had not been wiped. Very very poor experience and would never consider staying there again.

This property was very dirty and I took pictures the hotel room walls had stains all over, the bathroom had mold all in the grout, the bed linens had stains, the bathroom shower light was hanging and broken, the fire detector looked as if it was broken. I did take pictures to document. This is definitely a property that needs to be updated and we would never recommend nor stay there again.

I have stayed at this location on three different occasions and had to change rooms on two of those occasions. I lifted the comforter one night and there was trash and food under the comforter. Dirty streaks on the walls and low water pressure. I paid through Expedia but got charged again from the hotel and we’re going on day four without money being in my account. Also I was kept awake until 3 o’clock one morning due to the adjacent room blaring music

There is a “shelter” across the street. Not that it is unsafe; but single female travellers should be aware. We had NO ISSUES! But… you should be aware.
